I think it comes across as negative because there's still a lot to work on for the Leafs. They won against Florida and Tampa in Florida and that's awesome. But after what happened in Carolina, Pittsburgh and Buffalo, I think we're allowed to be tentative before we heap the praise on the team.

When they first acquired Muzzin they played Reilly on the right side. I think Babock split them up because Reilly was having a Norris Trophy caliber season on the left. Even if Reilly playing on the right side is 90% of what he is on the left, I'd still rather that than Justin Holl matching up against Pasta-Bergeron-Marchand for 7 games. There's no way that ends well.

I think Dermott's next contract will be a 4 yr deal at $11M.. $2.75M per season.

in keeping with Dubas' approach to the defence, I'm guessing the Leafs will have 4 new defenseman on the team in October of 2020.... basically keeping only Rielly, Muzzin and Holl.
