Another 40+ shots against by the time this ones over. Can’t keep doing this.

And we are winning less than 30% of our face offs.

Team looked tired tonite, hopefully a day of rest tomorrow and home crowd on Sunday will help them provide a better effort. Curious to see how the loss of Kreider will impact team too.

He didn't even get a chance tonight...played 8 mins

Yea I don’t get it. Quinn is a good coach but he drives me nuts with his line shuffling

I think a lot goes into that when it happens, we don't know if certain guys are more tired than others, Kreider getting knocked out, penalties end up changing things up.

What we need is Gauthier and Kakko to step up the next month without Kreider here.

cant win em all but at least give us 1/2 a chance ...
NYR 3 in 4 days on road ,flyer at home sitting since tues ... yeah that competitive balance ,gotta use more than a Quijie board to put a schedule together..NHL amatuers as far as runnign things ,can keep using .."Thats Hockey " to explain away the inconsistenticies from refs ,rules & usual small time operator crap that they dont fix ,like a zamboni driver to actually play when injuries occur , have a undressed back up at all times ,aside from the reg. back up dressed ....

Krieds is just "next man up" plan rotate from K K ,Gauthier and play Mckegg ,not Krastov , may be down the road but not when we need results .

Flyers have the most back to backs as well as the most 3 in 4s this year, so...yeah.

Unfortunately it's a 12pm game, I can't remember the last time they won one.

Yeah, face offs are going to haunt us until someone puts in the work to improve.

I thought they looked good for long stretches last night. We are not giving Carter Hart enough credit.
Oh, and the refs were absolutely shameful. Flyers should have had 4 penalties in the first 3.5 minutes. The hook on Kreider in the corner couldn’t have been more obvious. Rangers should have had a blatant interference penalty in the 1st as well. Just unforgivable officiating anymore.

I’m going to just draw this one up as the Flyers are a really good team. AV is still one of the best around. He takes teams to another level just like he did with us. The Rangers looked gassed last night and when you can’t win a face off your left chasing the puck all game. Rangers don’t match up well against the Flyers at all. I really wouldn’t be surprised if the Flyers had a deep run this year. They look good.

Faceoffs a big reason why they give up so many shots, here are the rangers centers %. It’s not good :

Zib 48.6
Strome 47.9
Chytil 36.9
Howden 48.3

This is a big issue they need to address before next year

I was pissed with the reffing in the 1st, but after that Philly took over the game, really wouldn't have mattered. Hart was making the big saves and Philly played better.

Just have to forget that one and play a much better game on Sunday.

They were due for a clunker.

Kreiders injury is worse news then losing the game

Yeah that sucks.

Really hope Gauthier, Kakko or someone slots in there.

Quinn can't put Panarin there. Makes them a one line team. Also leave Chytil as a center.

I don't know how he is playing with the Pack. It would be great if he was playing well enough to get a call up, I just don't know if Quinn would slot him there. I mean he won't even give Kakko a chance there.

People can say what they want, but that McKegg line was probably the best line in the previous 2 games before Philly. They were all over the ice and getting a bunch of chances. Quinn just needs to leave all the lines alone except for slotting 1 winger in Kreiders spot

Yea and plus rangers only have 2 call ups left this season, I doubt they waste one on kratsov If he isn’t ready

Good point on the call ups. On the flip side, though, if Kreider is definitely out for the remainder of the season, you’d think they’d want to give Kravs the opportunity. All dependent on if he’s ready or not, obviously.

Calling him up now might get him acclimated with the team in time for the playoffs.

I mean I am open to anything, but the dude only has 14 points in 33 games with the Pack. Doesn't sound like someone ready to light up the NHL. And he isn't much of a defensive forward yet, just doesn't seem like he is ready

with only 2 move left aftr Howden gauthier get eligible for the AHL P O's ?
and only 6 D on roster gotta wait on call ups & trust what D Q said about next man up plan... DiGuiseppe is a ggood move

bottom 6 is
Chtyil K K Howden : been a line before

Mckegg Gauthier Lemeuix : plays well as a trio

Di G can skate & play the part as best as possible , could really flourish

Kravs hasn't done enough to warrant a promotion to the NHL. Stick with the players we have for now.
Give Gauthier a shot at taking over for Kreider.

Has anyone seen a timetable for the injury? Broken foot usually heals in 4-6 weeks. I broke mine once and was playing again in 4. Trying to be optimistic that he'll be back in time for POs, but this really sucks
