All other broadcasts will be blacked out since I live in the Philly market. Will have to watch through my cable

I love Sam and Joe. Anytime I see a Stars game here on Fox Southwest those guys have the personality of wet cardboard. The NBC Sports guys are "meh." No one likes Pierre McGuire or Mike Milbury and the others have nothing to talk about past the biggest name on each roster. Blues win the Cup and they acted like they couldn't name a single player on the roster...still talking about Ovechkin and Crosby 10x a game in a Blues/Bruins final.
- Maskdman3

I don't like Joe. JD was a tough act to follow and I don't think he is the guy, my wife calls him "Skippy".
Forget NBC. I think it was Jimbo that said Guys who know hockey work for the NHL, those who don't work at NBC.

Joe I like for non Ranger Playoff games. He has a bit too much bias for me during Rangers games. Sam, well, he isn't sure which player is which, pretty much everyone is now Chytil or Zib since Zuke left. He also has no idea when its a goal. Sam was great, but those days have run its course. He is the Hank of announcers for me.

Kenny's face made for radio, but yeah, I agree, he would be a really good guy to take Sam's spot

I just hope with the next wave, we get some non national announcers. Obviously we have always had Sam, but I just always think of him as a national guy, maybe because I watched the cup on ESPN and not our feed.

I call Joe “the mook.”
I find he doesn’t add any insight. Just tells you what you just saw.

He is pretty good at saying the words "quick release" and apparently everyone in the NHL has one.

I didn't even know he was still playing. I remember when Girardi almost killed him. Might have been Girardi's best hit ever.

It's a shame there is a segment of the fanbase that doesn't remember this Girardi.

If anyone doesn't remember Girardi was a warrior and the epitome of a Ranger, they should not be Ranger fans
