They gave him their blessing to do what he wanted in goal and it supposedly coincides with Shesty being called up and Lundqvist barely playing anymore.

I bet bits and pieces of this story is true. I bet DQ did fear for his job and he probably did ask if they could call up Shesty. The other stuff is bogus though IMO.

Would Hank walk away from that much dough and do the team a favor, or take the sour grapes approach and make them buy him out?
He is owed that money, so I still don't see him walking away.
