Kreider is not the whole reason for the let down. They have had a very heavy schedule this past week. On top of that they lost their top goalie and buch still looks shaken up and off. You mix it all together and it’s a disaster. I’m not sure I even would want them to get I ti the playoffs by a hair at this point. Get a better draft position and look forward to a strong season next year. It’s all about these young guys like Kakko finding their game for next year.

This result is not on Henrik but he doesn't look good and isn't finding a way to bail them out.

Looks like he's rusty and trying too hard. Both side to side goals he bit first rather than forcing the shooter to commit.

Lots of plays where he is sliding away from his net as the puck arrives instead of being firmly planted. When that happens you have to stop momentum and reverse to be in position for the next shot or a rebound instead of merely making a small adjustment from a stationary position.

Probably wanted to get him in a game "if" the Rangers were able to get into the playoffs and Shesty is out for longer than they are hoping. Keep him fresh. Plus Georgie wasn't all that great the last game

Bc he's a future hallf of famer sitting on your roster with a ton of motivation to make one last run. You don't know what he might be able to do if you don't play him. Had he come out and looked like a man possessed (in a good way) we would all be clamoring to ride him until Shesty is back
