We could have

Hyman-Matthews-Marner
Mikheyev-JT-Nylander
Engvall-Kerfoot-Kapanen
Clifford-Spezza-someone

Muzzin-Holl
Rielly-Barrie
Dermott-Ceci

by the end of March

Just wrap them all in bubble wrap and sabotage the Panthers until then.

They seem to be doing a great job at sabotaging themselves all on their own.

Plekance shut down Bergeron for about 12 minutes. It was worth it.. No one else has come close to doing that since.

Plekanec was not a disappointment. He was fine as a playoff rental. The rest of the team sucked.
- Aetherial

He helped them out for Kadri suspension number 1

Only on the Leafs thread can a Bruins fan and Habs fan live in Harmony.

The Panthers suck.

As a Leaf and Hab fan I think we can both agree that they are an unlikely threat for as long into the future that we should care about.

He was your best centre in that series imo.

I'm sorry, but they ARE a threat to us..... getting a top 10 pick next draft.

Martin Jones v. Jack Campbell.

Leafs will win 5-2.. That's my guess.

Ottawa is a threat to you.. They could have as many as 3 picks in the top 10.

They have good pieces, but are tough to take seriously. Last summer it was ownership is opening the bank to be competitive. Then they sign a 10 million dollar goaler, suck for large spans of the year, relay the message that they need to shed 10 million in salary, which they gave to Bob the year before and because of that trade a 2nd line center. The team is a cluster (frank).

You need to be competitive to bring in fans and they just aren't doing it. Their drafting is absolutely atrocious and if you want to survive in a small market, you need that as your foundation so that you can bring in young, cheap, team controlled players and wisely allocate your money to savvy UFA additions and or trades. They have done none of that and are squandering Barkov and Huberdeau's prime and it's a complete joke.

Pretty crazy how this whole Karlsson trade worked out. I for one did not see this becoming a lottery pick, let alone a lottery pick with this much top 3 potential.

They did pummel the Penguins, which was peculiar. Although, they've been struggling as of late. It's pretty crazy to think that the Flyers could very well win the Metro with the Capitals and Penguins fluttering a bit down the stretch.

I said it would be a terrible deal if they gave him more than 6.5 million.... Not Karlsson fan.

I wasn't talking about money, but I agree, they gave him way to much. I was referring to the assets coming back to Ottawa in the trade. I did not see their first being this valuable, but the NHL has a way of making anyone and everyone look stoopid at some point in time.

Oh for sure, SJ falling this quick was a shock.. I know Jones hasn't been good but a lot of people, myself included had them making the playoffs.

The injuries haven't helped them either,(Karlsson, Couture, Hertl). They don't have the depth to overcome those long term injuries.
