Marlies won 3-2.

Duszak with 17 points in 20 games now. Not bad for a d-man.

I know a team that lost a 3 goal lead in the last 10m of the 3 period.

Anything is possible in the NHL.

- underhill14

No way. What kind of team would do something like that? Next, you're gonna say that happened in the playoffs..right?

How’s his D zone play?

Still only 22 I see some potential next year.

He was the fantasy draft 'reach' at #13 this year that just keeps on paying...

Gotta be wrong we were already told no way Robertson is remotely close to being as good as DeBrincar
- jribout
I hear ya, its not like he's tiny small. He was 5'9 at 17, not 18 or 19 when drafted and will gain an inch or two and about 20 or 30 pounds by the age of 20.
He is still eligible for a couple more years in the OHL after this one, but he is way to good for it. Sucks he is to young to play for the Marlies next year, Its NHL or OHL. I'm wondering if he could play in Swiss men's league at 18-19 like Matthews did. Not sure if its allowed thou cuz the OHL and USA agreements are different.
Since Im a Pete's fan I'll be rooting for him the whole way. He is tenacious on the puck like Hyman but already has a Matthews shot, a hybred of the two ( yes his shot is being compared also to Laine and Ovechkin). Oh and he kills penalties, scores a bunch short handed and is a (frank)ing pest to play against....

Someone on the Twitter said that the deal between the NHL and the CHL (or OHL, whichever) is expiring after this season, so there's a small chance that things could change, but it's unlikely.

Nice! Thanks. I haven't seen Robertson live. I've seen some YouTube clips and, of course, saw his play at the WJC. At the WJC he wasn't the pest as he'd been described - so I suppose he was asked to play a different role.

Since I don't get much of a chance to see a lot of these kids play, one of the things I like to do is compare them against their own team to get a sense of value contribution. Robertson is producing at 1.77pts / gm; the next closest Pete is Der-Arguchintsev @ 1.29/gm (ignoring late addition Akil Thomas, who was at 1.62/gm and is consistently at 1.63/gm with Peterborough). So he's producing almost .5 pts gm better than his own linemate. That's pretty impressive.

There are not a lot of similar guys - Foerster in Barrie, Kaliyev in Hamilton, McMichael in London and Perfetti in Saginaw. With Kaliyev, McMichael and Perfetti there's a real expectation that these guys are going to be solid NHL players. So far Foerster is tagged as a 2nd rd pick; he looks like he could be a steal, strictly speaking as a statistical comparable.

It feels like Robertson is in good company.

The leafy thing would be for Campbell to go 0-2 with a .750 save percentage and clifford gets injured for the rest of the season

What do you all think; Start Vasilevskiy tonight or not? Especially considering the guy I'm playing has Pastrnak, Marchand, Bergeron and Krug .
