there once was a user on the site who always called me kicks while everyone else said kick and i never had the heart to ask him what he sees when he looks at my screen name because i'm afraid that for some reason he thinks its "kicks ave" and not "kick save".
i will probably wonder about that for the rest of my life.

exactly. And if he plays poorly with the Caps, are they still taking him back? And would it be possible to acquire a player in his (frank)ing prime once in a while, and not at the end of his career?

well if it's just a little slice of the cap i get it. but if he expects too much i also don't think it's too big of a deal to just say never mind and move on without bringing him back.
but to me he does have to play well with the caps for the habs to continue considering it, yes. maybe he tapered off because he knew a move was coming and it got him off his game (although he's kind of moved all over the world so it probs shouldn't be a big deal to him by now).
God bless Tanner. I read that hotstove article title and wondered how Tanner would bend over backwards to claim the Leafs were the best...and then of course...he did. I've never seen somebody beg for credibility while simultaneously going out of his way to eliminate any credibility

I think his joy and motivation fizzled at the same time as the habs' playoff hopes did.
