“Montreal is just a bunch of sharp shooters. That was a sharp shot by wheeler. What a sharp shooter that wheeler. Got to give it Montreal they’re sharp shooting.”
Butch Goring is hard to deal with when we’re losing. Like really (frank)ing hard to deal with. |

He really is but I can tolerate him when we’re winning but when we’re losing it literally causes me physical pain to listen to him.
Wonderful the flamboyant Montreal chant to finally make me turn this disaster off. |

I think the 'no heart' stuff is overused in sports by fans, but with that said; I have a major concern about a lack of heart from a few of our core players. |

Glad to hear. Just saw the video and was like Jesus. I don't want the isles to win but I don't want anything bad to happen to any player either |

No question keener there are heart issues with some of the core players. I keep hearing and seeing numbers this team has went into the tank because of Casey. I really like Casey and do not want to take anything away from him but you have huge problems if the team cannot survive a Casey injury. |

The team was playing like crap before he got injured and before even Pelech was injured. Sure, they’re big contributors to this team and I’m not trying to take away from that but they didn’t look so hot with them. This team has a problem between its ears right now imo. They don’t want to play the way they should or the way we all know they can. Beauvillier and Toews were terrible tonight but that could be any 4-6 players on any given night lately. They pretty much suck all the way around from the goal out I would say minus Pulock, who to me has been pretty consistent imo. They better snap out of this quick or they’ll blow this season. |

I think there are some harsh realities setting in for this team in terms of accepting just what some players are and are not. Anders Lee is a 20-25g guy, not a 30-40g guy. Eberle is a great offensive talent with a part time motor. Barzal is a great talent who has been asked to be the team's premier talent too soon. Both goaltenders are average at best. Josh Bailey, Brock Nelson lack fire. The isles lack a true #1 dman and offensive scoring threat at forward. (Pulock isn't far off though)
Sorokin can fill the goaltending void, but the lack of a game changing scorer is a massive need for this team that they are highly unlikely to fill in the next two years. The Isles are loaded with role guys suited for third and fourth lines. Surprisingly just one or two additions can turn this team into a contender fast. But I'm afraid the quality needed for those additions are unlikely to arrive next season |
