Yeah they just straight up blew it. - BINGO!
Refs are lousy but so is the Isles offense. You put yourself in a bad situation when you leave little room for error. |

NHL Situation Room email states Svechnikov’s stick was above the crossbar but below his shoulders. Once puck hit the post and bounced out, it was a legal play — stick above the bar only stops play if puck goes directly in. - UIF
Looked over the shoulder to me but we are the Islanders , so........ |

Interesting sidenote; that's yet another goal that deflected off of Mayfield. Maybe we should start putting him in front of the OTHER team's goal! |

Come on that’s a high stick off the cross bar On to a Canes stick and Mayfield is literally diving to try and save it and almost did. Hit his shoulder and went in. I mean give some credit for the effort there. |

Maybe they had a different angle we didn't see or something. It'd be nice if they included an image with the email, they gotta know there are going to be freeze-frame images with red conspiracy circles going around the Internet with just that text answer |

Well for me I would rather have Bailey, Beau, and Brassard in the lineup vs Otto, Bellows and who ever else you want in there. Obviously that’s just my opinion and of course your entitled to yours. Even if it’s wrong - nyisles7
I’m curious to see how many people agree with you...
For me it’s a no brainer to have at least Bellows and Wahlstrom over Brassard and Bailey!!!! But I would definitely not mind seeing Beauvillier take a seat in the presser and try to sort his personal poop with Anna!!! |

And then acknowledge the result
Not condemning the effort, but it is funny as this is now 3 goals in the last few games that have bounced off him into the net |

Ok Gotcha but there aren’t many who would have kept the puck out of the net if any honestly, however maybe you have a point and put him on the PP in front of the other teams net |

Ek saying that is a big positive for us. Come on now. Pageau will probably score 40 next season because of it. |

I would’ve liked if they called up bellows and sat brassard or MDC. I hate Ladd maybe more than anyone on here but I thought he played a good game. For someone who probably stuck up for MDC more than anyone on here I have a hard time seeing the love affair Trotz has with the kid. He doesn’t bring enough to this line up that can’t score to warrant his spot IMO. I don’t see him as this defensive stalwart that some people say. He turned over the puck multiple times today either with a horrible thought out pass or turning it over in the neutral zone. We can’t score call up someone who shoots. |

Ultimately this team refuses to shoot and get pucks to the net. They would rather skate around the perimeter and pass the puck looking for the perfect shot. They had an AHL goalie in net. They didn’t do enough to test the kid. Same olde crapola. |

Yeah he is. Steps up when he needs to. He was the best player on the ice imo. Again. |

This team is lost and does not want to work hard. They want Cappy back who demanded nothing out of them. |

Barry must think MDC is one of his old timers like Leo? MDC is young so why does Barry even like him? |

Yup and over 23 minutes again.
Gonna be interesting to see what kind of contract The Isles and his side agree to. |

He plays like he’s 80. All kidding aside I don’t hate the kid I’d love to see him take his game up a notch but we need some scoring not a player who is out there just to hope the other team may not score. We have enough of that imo. I also think he’s vastly overrated defensively. Just my two cents. |

Yeah not really sure what he’ll get in all honesty? He keeps playing the way he has he will get paid. He’s a valuable player for us and his agent knows it. |
