My wife all pissed off because I joked with her tonight. She's always mad because I find the funny in everything.

That's what life's about. I'm the same way. Of course at the expense of others, like the new guy pillow biter. 🤣

I didn't watch past the first period last night. I was reading today about how through the first 20 games the team was controlling play at an unsustainable rate. They have gone from one of the best to one of the worst teams in the league. Players have ebb and flows and Van has a deep group that can cover for one another and has.

What changed that drastically to have them go from around of the best in controlling play to one of the worst?

Has there been a more improved team in the league this year? They were 25th in the league in goals for last year and are currently top 10. A large part of that is Green.

How many other coaches would of had the balls to play Pettersson as C despite not playing the position in over a year? Hughes was given the keys to the PP as rookie within a month, Virtanen has improved tonnes, Markstrom has quoted many times how Green was instrumental in him regaining his game and conference in Utica.

Gaudette was garbage last year and struggled a lot early in the season but Green stick with him despite Bennings golden boy being healthy.

Green making Benning look good.

Canucks still make the playoffs and win a round or two.

Has any of the media asked QH whether or not keeping the puck out of Van's net part of him being "the best" ?

Myers Edler was dominant to start the season, so was Petey JV Boeser. This team misses Boeser more than the "armchair coaches" in here think.

Im easily hardest on Boeser here (no poop idiot) but this stretch sure is showing me how important he is. Essentially he just fits on tjis team and we need him.

He's a legitimate top line winger, he's looked out of sorts but he's still a damn good player.

Literally the only coach i've ever heard called out by the players was Babcock and he still had to be fired before that happened.

NHL talent that would be doing the exact same thing with ANY coach that came in. The talent on this team is being squashed by Green. Chip and chase poop all the time. Look at the (frank)en roster and look where they are in the standings.

The Jets have an AHL defence and an ECHL bottom 6 and are right with Van.

The team is meant to score but aren't allowed to make plays or hold onto the puck.

He just seems like a sell high guy to me but I think ive been swayed now. If we can get him back and TT signed to something reasonable our top 9 is looking good. Do not do sometjing dumb for TT. I dont mind myers but hes allready on the bottom pair for 5 morw years at 6 mill. Our de is better but its gonna be a loui deal

I like how you say the "armchair coaches" in here but are defending the other side which would still make you an "armchair coach".

The only thing that shows me when you say that is that you "think" you're smarter than the rest of the people in here.

To which you are not otherwise you might have a professional job and certainly wouldn't be on here.

Minus 9 over the past 5 games.

I haven't heard Petey talk to the media too much lately. No "alien stare"

Strike 3 man. Cant always go to fire the coach when we arent winning. Were batting abobe our pay grade take the good with the bad. Green is a good coach. Ffs hes what 3rd in voting for coach of the year.

Can we not just have both?

Here's the tough part. Toffoli and Pearson are good buddies. If TT thinks TP is going to be traded when his contract is up next season, would he sign?

They are both going to be 28 next season and at 30 most likely are going to start to decline.

4 years at 5.5 has got to be close to what you could get TT signed for. Do you hand out an extension to TP at the same time so for 3 years at slightly less to match them up? Risk losing one of them in the expansion draft.

What? Players quit on coaches all the time.

I'll agree with the AHL defense for wpg but their forward group is really deep, especially when healthy. They are also getting insane goaltending.

The poopty players dump and chase, the good players carry and pass it in. It's not systems its personal driven.
