It's hard to remember who's on which side when some flip flop all the time depending on how the team is doing. - manvanfan

He’s done pretty well by Jv, qh, Bo, EP, TP, TT and TJM all of whom have had career years(in the two young guys cases, have been developed/sheltered to succeed). Unfortunately, like many of us knew all along, this is a bubble team coming into the year. Now you all want to cry as we... are a bubble team it’s really something to watch, I’ll give you all that. I can see why my mom likes soap operas. - neem55
Outside of natural progression for almost all of these players or playing with better line mates? The vets the team has brought in really have sucked. Do all vets suck when they go to other teams?
I know you don't know any of our mothers, pretty stupid thing to say. |

I would argue that green’s inept coaching held the majority of those guys back, and they are just talented enough that they progressed naturally in spite of his holding them back.
And you giving green credit for Toffoli and Miller, wow, that is a pretty homer take. |

Your point was the team was playing better and Green's doing a good job. |

I wouldn’t include you in that group. You have been very consistent on your Green hate, win or lose. You might be a rerard, but I don’t see you as a bipolar retard - 1970vintage

Toffoli and Miller have never had a consistent chance to play with a player of Petey's quality i'm pretty sure. Also happens they are in their primes. |

Ok, that was one. The other was the people riding high on the wave of playoffs and now getting sucked under by the undertow. They have been pretty consistent with their game all year. They just aren’t as good as 9-3 over Boston and they aren’t as bad as 5-2 loss to Ottawa. |

I’ve never been banned. Mostly because I don’t venture outside this thread often. But also because I’m generally congenial in my insults.
For instance, I just called you a liar and you didn’t even flinch. |

That’s why the comment says MY MOM, as I know her pretty well.
I just was pointing out the flaw in your comment, you said he isn’t getting the best out of players... but he clearly is out of some. When they succeed it’s because of linemates when they fail it’s the coach? |

Don't get sucked in. They want to suck you.
Obviously there is going to be good and bad games. It's how they are losing the games lately and some of the poop has been cried about for forever but complaining daily is annoying for anyone. |

I give Newell a lot of credit for Miller too, he’s been brilliantly deployed on the PP. and the guys having career years are being held back what’s the opposite of the homer take? Hater take? I mentioned TT only because he’s plugged him into the lineup so well.
I don’t love Green, we could have a better coach. But he has been good for this group, otherwise how could they have played better than every single one of us predicted?! |

It's the internet. Shouldn't take this poop seriously at all. Nobody on here knows me.
I wanted Adam Beckman with Van's 3rd last season and JB traded it away.
He's leading the WHL in scoring and scored his 100th point the other night. He's looking pretty damn good for a 3rd round pick. He also hasn't played a single NHL game.
I didn't sleep much last night and watched Daniel Gee highlights of a lot of Van's prospects.
Outside of Podkolzin, a lot of players need to take a major step forward before they become adequate NHL players.
I gave Green a pretty long leash on his tenure and have kept saying he needs to keep improving to stay.
I don't make rash decisions. It's not a single game or a weeks games to make up my mind. I haven't changed my mind about anything I thought this about this season including selling at the deadline.
I'M NOT STUPID VINTAGE! |

I vehemently disagree, Green for the last couple of years have held back players, to his style of play..
They are having breakout years in spite of him, thought I was clear on that. The opposite of homer is realist and objective similar to my opinions |

How can you tell the difference between natural progression and development?
Some vets have been the same or better JTM, TT(small sample), Pearson, Roussel year 1, Leivo and Myers. All of the young players have taken a step forward. |
