Interesting stat...
Canucks Discussion

Gaudette on a 47 point pace over 82 games playing only 12 minutes a night.
Absolute steal in the 5th round - VanHockeyGuy
Surpassing what I had projected for him sort of. I had him projected as a 45-50 point player per season regularly.
I have been telling myself that scoring keeps going up and I should add a few points to my projections though. |

Switched to wing, dominating now. May be a decent signing. - VanHockeyGuy
Van should probably try and sign him.
Edit: should sign a few younger euro's. Find a gem or two. Chicago and Toronto have found a few lately. |

Spanked by the Oil last night...Torts will have them ready. - LordHumungous
Oilers were badly outplayed, badly, Canucks will be in tough tonight. Tortorella is a good systems coach, lousy communicator, but knows systems. |

Simple answer: Lind’s confidence has grown.
I think that’s from learning the AHL, putting in the work.
Lind’s work along the boards has stood out.
He’s also been strong backchecking and forechecking.
He’s holding on to the puck a little longer to draw D to create more plays. |

I was surprised the oil didn’t lose 7-1, Columbus was by far the better team, if not for Draisaitl that team is bad.
Let’s hope Columbus spent their load last night. And time leap forward does them in. |

Doing what he was in Kelowna, he'll get a look for sure. |

Keep the shelves stocked. Sign them, we can't draft them this year. |

Keep the best of them and trade the rest for more picks and stock the shelves so they can have century long success. |

@HackswithHaggs
I'll preface this by saying Ondrej Kase has been pretty good in the games he's played since arriving in Boston. But he's also got one assist in 5 games. He looks like a solid third liner on a good NHL team. Once again the fancy stats crew have overstated their case w/this guy
/Cam Robinson/
@Hockey_Robinson
I, too, feel a five-game sample is more than enough to draw definitive conclusions.

Go team father time! Let’s talk after the playoffs when there’s actually enough games to judge. |

Right, only 16 AHL games! And only 114 NHL games as well. I love his enthusiasm when he scores, and there is lots of growth in his game to come.
Perfect 3rd line center moving forward. - carsonagenic
As a centre would like to see his playmaking skills improve a bit more. Saying that, he’s a great draft choice. |

I was thinking the same but with his defensive game. But he’s looking like a late round gem for sure. |

Great news. Man that could solidify a solid top 9. Just need to stay afloat until we get Marky back |

I'm sure he will with experience. He is already holding the puck a little longer and looking for his wingers. Plus when we get Brock and Leivo back, the depth will filter down giving him higher skilled wingers to work with. |

yup green will take someone else out fir sure. Loui defensive numbers are very solid, I don’t love the guy but im just saying. Id take motte out and move loui to 4th line.
Does boeser play with petey or bo?
Good problem! |

I would say Boston paid too much but they really didn't at all because it cost the TML a 1st to get rid of 6 million dollar Marleau and they got nothing in return.
At least Boston got a good young NHLer and it only cost them an extra previous 2nd. |
