No more tears was zakks 2nd album w ozzy, not the 1st. 'No rest for the wicked' was his 1st - SMBDragon
Yep I know I'm just saying No More Tears should be considered one of his best. |

Eddie worshipped clapton not page. Also You can hear it in his playing and use of the Stratocaster.
Eddie was never in the neo-classical style. Rhoads was also not the 1st. Uli jon roth was the 1st. - SMBDragon
Agree on Clapton he was a main influence for Eddie..however when asked repeatedly who he thought the 'greatest' was he always seemed to mention Gallagher or Gatton.. and even Page.
Disagree on the neo classical influences. Eddie was largely known as a classical music lover and you can hear it in his playing and practising. Many Historians cite Blackmore and a few others as starting the sub-genre but really it was Eddie/Rhoads in the late 70's with his/their influences on the genre. Malmsteen gets a lot of credit as well as he should. But really one could talk about the influence s all day. Emerson, Vinnie Moore, Jon Roth, Mcalpine, Petrucci on and on. You could even look at Satriani for taking it all to the next level. Since EVH...I don't think there has been a better technical player than Satriani....but it's debatable. |

Yes result sucked game of missed opportunities. Some games and teams just don't work for Canucks. CBJ was blocking everything so they wind up over passing and a lot of posts and crossbars. - NuckUp

You love your soft players. I want to see some good aggressive players, added to this pool, plus, Schneider is RHD. |

Not a matter of worshipping, page was simply the best and zep did everything themselves, Frank the media and record companies and they changed music and how to do business with an iron fist, demanding an 80% take from promoters when it was 40% or we don't play and everyone after them can thank them for turning blues into hard rock and getting richer. - Bettmanhatesus
Holy crap, no.
Zep did not change the business of music like you suggested. They just followed what James Brown did 15 years previously. Bands and musicians are still following Brown’s examples of independents and self determination today. |

When I saw Danny Gatton he was using a Leslie speaker for his guitar. He died a few months later. |

Not really sure what the problem is . Could be a lot of things from Growing Pains , Bad D ? , a Rift in the room like Don says? Bad coaching and systems? All the above?
Hard to say what it is . I don't think the forward group helps out enough on the D side but they do put in enough goals. Lots of fine tuning to be done. |

Eddie started off on classical piano i think thats what youre referring to. Guitar wise he used almost exclusively the minor pentatonic scale which is used heavily in rock and blues and pretty much excludes him from the neo-classical group
Blackmore and uli jon Roth were using classical inspired runs since the early seventies which makes them the 1st. They used various minor diatonic scales in their music, including melodic minor and harmonic minor which certainly places them in the neo-classical vein.
All the rest came long after those 2. Both of which were long time influences on yngwie who we know is the best known neo-classical artist |

I'm going with bad D, bad system or lack thereof. You also need a leader on the D like JTM is with the forward group, not your goalie. |

Who are the bad D men? Sort of curious because when when I break them down individually I don't see one that stands out like last year.
I agree on the system not being good |

I think they are trying to do too much and getting caught out of position. Example, Fantenberg last night, Stecher is hot and cold. Needs to get fixed this summer somehow. |

I don't have a problem with Fatty he is a 1 mil number 7 guy that stole a job from Benn.
Stecher has the heart of a pitbull but he is also as skilled as one . Sorry to see a guy that wants to be here go but I think it can use a little more grit back there or a decent shot. |

We need to (draft/acquire) that bad ass junkyard dog D-man that forwards don't want to fuk with. And it's not Tryamkin. We put all our chips in offence. |

Problem is getting one tough guy won't help . You need team mentality fight me fight my gang.
There are still some players that have never once fought.
I would like to see more production from the back end . You have Werenski with 20 goals and our group combined does not have that.
So many games I am disappointed with Bo |
