I've maintained no PO's since before seasons start
91 points.
And where was Horvat last night having tea in the corners? No F'n points???? - LordHumungous
Ya this is what i figured too, just outside of the dance. But we are overachieving by this estimate, hence my pointing it out. |

Well every poster on this message board, for starters. I don’t remember anyone having them in the playoff hunt come March. - neem55
That's not true. A lot have had them losing in the playoffs first round before the season started.
Almost everyone except for Marwood had them between 90-100 points on the season.
I had them at 94-97 points and that was what I thought if the season went reasonably well. Virtanen, Hughes, Miller an actual healthy Tanev are out performing what I thought they could accomplish this season.
All others are pretty much on pace for what I expected.
Currently they are on pace for 92 points on the season.
So for me the team isn't living up to my expectations. They would actually fall just short. |

The season is still a win IMO. Expected improvements were there. PO's would be a gift. |

I don’t remember anyone saying this was a playoff team, but ill take your word for it.
I see this as a team with a real shot to sneak in, i did not see that at the beginning of the year and niether did the majority on here except you apparently. |

Hard to predict how every team will do in a season. Based off last year and the Av's getting in on 90 points would be a good starting point.
Vantel's been talking first round playoff loss for months now. How many points they will end up with is a fluid number for him
Pretty sure one of north or NY thought playoffs as well.
If the team had 5 more wins right now, i'd probably say they are overachieving from what I had thought as well. But they aren't so I don't happen to think that. |

Im talking about before the season. When both vantel and myself had this as a bubble team not quite making it. Which you might say, has already overachieved those expectations. So again, im talking about before the season when the vast majority had this team on the outside looking in. |

I think you're right, before the season started, the vast majority of ppl on here had the Canucks sucking this year. Perhaps not as bad as the media predicted, but anyone who would have predicted the Canucks leading the PAcific Div or making the playoffs would have been roasted.
I was the only one backing Jake Virtanen thank you very much.
Everyone else wanted him traded, calling him a bust.

How do they overachieve if they haven't yet achieved what you said and on pace to achieve what you said? |

That's not true, i've been on Team Jake since day 1 and never left but nobody is untouchable for the right price for me.
TG has been "teaching" Virtanen since he got to the AHL and nothing. In comes Miller and boom JV takes off. |

Can you imagine how Marwood feels? Teams already has more points than he predicted on the season.
That's achieving.
I had Hughes at 6 goals and 42 assists on the season and he has achieved that already!
I wanted TG to learn when to use a timeout in a game. ACHIEVED!
There's a plenty but some have lifted to be achieved. |

You expected a bubble team to be irrelevant at the start of March? |

Yes. I expected outside looking in. Not top of the division to battle for wildcards. Also, you claiming 50 points for qh is a joke, beginning to think you need to keep a diary again cause this is getting a bit wonky |

I would have traded him for Josh Manson at the TDL though. - manvanfan
As Team Tuna president, i regret to inform you that you have been removed from the cheer-leading squad.
As I said, i am the only one that has consistently had faith in his skills and upside.

I do keep almost everything, that's how I remember. Diary has never left. Thanks though. |
