I'm on the island.

The other procurement offices work out of willingdon in burnaby, kelowna, nanaimo, and I forgot the last two

That’s right, forgot you are on the island. I worked at BC Cancer and C&W. PHSA was a good authority to work for. FHA is a different beast.

I may have killed the thread. Sorry. But let’s be honest, wouldn’t be the first time.

There is only one person qualified on these boards to talk coaching

That is correct, and I have stated my opinions several times, it’s just taken 95% of the rest here to finally catch up.

Awesome. Knew I could count on you.

TBH, my money was on minivan to be the next to comment.

If this team was 2 pts put of a playoff position and had won 3 out the past 4 games would we be crying about Green or applauding his ability to get this depleted and flawed roster within striking distance of the playoffs?

The teams sucked recently but I still think they're in a good position. They need to earn it down the stretch but I'm still confident they make it.

Comets next season. That’s one of the stories I’m kind of interested in. I still think your farm team is a good indicator of future NHL success. If JB is correct in thinking 6 or 7 prospects are NHL competent then the Comets will benefit for the next few years.

Three of them don't play for the Comets

Comets will probably fall back a bit next year.

But if the prospect pool starts getting deeper then competition gets better and good young players don’t make the NHL roster and have to develop in the AHL. From what I’ve read on here (twitter freaks) more and more Canuck prospects are getting accolades for outstanding play regardless of league.

That’s the one area I don’t female dog about regarding JB. I like his picks and don’t blame him for the few bad ones. We all know the draft is a bit of a crapshoot anyway. I pray they are finally fixing that part of this franchise.

Of all people I would think you’d be more positive. Your lack of enthusiasm is troubling.

Just thinking if Canucks have to find an emergency goalie at the last minute do you think they would put Dan Cloutier in net? Would he be eligible?

Discuss.

So Canucks officially out of the playoffs as of tonight, wonder if they will get back in,

I’d rather have Ian Clark suit up.

I think Rafferty Lind Mikey D and Zack Mac Briesbois will all be Canucks some day. No standouts but suppliments.

I think Pod and Hoglander will be impact players.

Combine that with Jake Hughes Bo Petey and Brock that is a lot of youth. I don't see any more waves of new players but rather a trickle.

That is why I was okay with giving up some draft picks this year.

Games in hand still, but have to start winning. Find ways to win instead of finding a way to lose.

But to see Dan between the pipes again... would be something to behold. I would buy scalpers tickets for that.

Podkolzin will never play for the comets. Hog...maybe. I’d prefer not.

Why? I don’t think his age or status prevents him from playing in the AHL. If he ain’t ready when he arrives then what do you do with him? Back to Russia? That does seem to be a pattern with this team.

Ok. You think he’s a unique talent. It’s not a league rule thing that’s preventing him from playing in the AHL. Got it.

I don’t know. If Draisaitl can play a few games in the AHL any player can.

He is 18. He will be 20 when he joins the team and ready to contribute in the top 9. The kid won’t come over to play in the minors. Better off earning more in Russia if that’s his option
