Vegas is relentless. Good PK/forecheck and neutral zone transition. Koskinen played as well as he could until he let in the two weak ones 2nd and third goals. Is what it is.

That's one way to look at it, I think 88 points will be the lowest possible to make the playoffs this year and 94 the high end in the west considering the current pace of the teams around the nucks and the number of teams in the hunt.

So that would be 12 to 18 pts needed in 20 games. My feeling it will be 15.

The number doesn't matter in reality they just need to be top 3 of 5 teams down the stretch drive. Wpg, Min, Cal, Nsh.

They are out of the playoffs currently but actually have a better pts % and/or ROW than Min, Nsh and Wpg. And have had their worst stretch of hockey while some of those teams have had their best.

It will be tight and they'll certainly need to earn it. Nice to have exciting hockey to watch this time of year.

Costmar is playing in a league that is maybe equivalent to bchl, but I never complain about a centre or defenseman being picked in any draft.
I wasn't as high on Madden as most and have always liked what Toffoli brings as a player.

CostMar has looked good in the shl in the few games he's played.

Agreed.
Utica should be adding at least 3 rookies next season in Woo, Focht and possibly Lockwood and Keppen. Not sure if they will be adding any from the European leagues, but would like to see Costmar and Utunen added to the farm as well.
