I'll be homeless but then maybe on welfare and everything will be handed to me as that's the new American, cant imagine why anyone would want to work when they are given everything for free

Well I wouldn't be quitting

Trump speaking again at 3 pm. My guess is He declares this a National emergency. There will be a stimulus plan in effect by next week to help anyone who's job has been affected by this shut down.. etc.

Hopefully in a few weeks we are all past the panic mode and everything settles down. in the meantime there has been a few breakthroughs in Canada and Israel on a Vaccine (see what happens when you take hockey away from Canada.. whole country working on curing this virus). it's still in the testing stage but will hopefully get people to calm down and stop buying toilet paper.

That was more of a blanket statement than one aimed specifically at you. There are plenty of valid arguments on that topic but when I see people say "what's the point in even working anymore when you can just collect welfare and free healthcare" it makes me want to smash my head into a plate glass window.

That sucks. The impacts of this are going to go well beyond health. We were told today that we will be working from home until told otherwise (at least 3 weeks).

Hopefully things will settle down quickly once we have more information.

Sorry to hear that Upstate. Unfortunately your not the only one suffering.
This obviously is having a negative effect on most industries and we basically have to survive to fight another day.
This is a worldwide event that will effect the way we do things from here on out.

Everyone should be smart, be safe and have faith this will be defeated.
