I can only assume that’s how Komarov is doing it also albeit for a little less. Whose Cheerios did you piss in today to get banned? - Cptmjl
I'm a dead gorilla, I can't get "banned". I have no idea what you mean. |

Ladd is older than Bellows and Wahlstrom. Does this help? |

Andrew Ladd as the third shooter with the game on his stick and he shoots it wide. That’s awesome. Hopefully he’s on the first line next game so we can get Komarov up to the 2nd. Maybe we’ll have hickey play as a forward so we don’t have to call up bellows. - Cptmjl
Thats some true Garthian logic. I wonder how you ever imagined such a thing. 🤔 |

NBA suspends the season. - ses111
NHL meeting to discuss doing the same. Well, the Islanders could use a break right about now anyway. Players and fans safety has be the number one priority in this case. |

I don’t think the NHL will suspend the season unless like the NBA a player is infected.
Games can be played fan less and still realize the TV revenue. Not ideal but still better than suspension. If a player is infected than of course I would say they need to suspend as the NBA has done to protect their players. |

Obviously this thing needs to be contained but this is a full blown, exaggeration of hockeybuzz poster proportions. Where was this panic with SARS(which was actually 20 times more contagious with a higher fatality rate btw) or h1n1 in 2009? This thing is going to absolutely destroy this country and it’s economy to the point it’ll take a decade to fix. More people’s lives will be destroyed from the panic then the actual coronavirus. Everyone has to take a deep breath. |

SARS was deadlier, but "much less infectious," according to the WHO Q&A, so that's probably why the response is different as far as trying to limit large groups. |

I read it was 20 times more contagious then coronavirus now of course I can’t remember where I read it or find it😂
When all is said and done with this there will be twice as many fatalities linked to the flu this season than the coronavirus. Book it. People love panic these days. |

*NHL IS SAID TO LEAN TOWARD JOINING THE NBA IN SUSPENDING SEASON on Bloomberg news right now..
NHL Is Said to Lean Toward Joining the NBA in Suspending Season
By Scott Soshnick
(Bloomberg) -- The National Hockey League is leaning toward following the National Basketball Association’s lead and suspending its season in response to the coronavirus, according to a person familiar with the situation.
The organization is expected to propose halting play on Thursday, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private.
The NBA decided to suspend its season after a player tested positive for coronavirus, roiling its attempts to maintain business as usual during the outbreak. A player on the Utah Jazz received the diagnosis on a preliminary basis, the NBA said Wednesday. The test result came shortly before the Jazz were to play the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the game was scrapped. The NBA later announced it was also suspending the season for its developmental league, the G League.
The move followed the NCAA deciding to bar fans from the March Madness college basketball tournament, and Major League Baseball shuffling its schedule to cope with the outbreak.
Publicly, the NHL said Wednesday night that it was “continuing to consult with medical experts and is evaluating the options. We expect to have a further update tomorrow.”
The league’s union, meanwhile, said it was “in continuous contact with the NHL regarding the coronavirus and the recent announcement by the NBA.”
“These discussions will continue tomorrow morning, and we will consult with players before commenting further,” the players’ association said in a statement.Related |

Yeah, with the amount of articles out there, not to mention all the threads from online Twitter doctors, I'm either going to die tomorrow, or I should be snorting this virus because it's practically healthy for you.
Another difference is this virus can spread when someone isn't showing symptoms, where, with SARS, people got sick first; then contagious, so it was easier to know when not to be in public spreading your germs around. |

The two week incubation period to me is a bad attribute. Not knowing you have it and unintentionally spreading it is a problem. I’m not trying to diminish it. There will be a lot of cases but this to shall pass like every other virus and I think the end result will be much more minimal then the overreaction we’re seeing now. Sure, a lot of that will have to do with the precautionary measures put in place but this to me is over the top... |

But how was his defense and is he as responsible as Leo and Bailey? |
