Letting Virtanen go would be stupid, he’s a valuable NHL tweener with 40 points and 20 goals, most likely, those are hard to come by. Not to mention he’s a possession driver, he can skate better than almost anyone on the team and he’s our best player some nights. - LeftCoaster
Even though your approach to personal hygiene is disgusting I agree with you. |

Sutter won’t be here next year and Virtanen is nothing like Baertschi so that’s a poor comparison. He’s getting better, Virtanen, not worse, keeping him is a complete no-brainer.
It’s guys like Sutter who you want to get rid of, his game is in decline, he’s in his 30’s and he’s costing the team WAY too much in cap space. - LeftCoaster
Not an issue. |

Hearing Micheal Ferland is back in Vancouver working out and back skating.
The goal is still to play next year. |

If Benning was smart he’d just shut him down. He’s done. He’ll never be able to be the same physical player because he’ll always be afraid of the next brain injury. A good signing but it didn’t work out. No harm no foul. |

I think that is what it comes down to. He wants his money and Canucks want the cap space so he goes back on LTIR |

His cap hit is inconvenient. My fat friend said benning can just tell him he is “done” |

Didn't Gillis do that to Maholtra?
Manny wanted to play and Gillis said nope. |

That’s different. He couldn’t see lol. And Manny kept playing. Ferland isn’t going anywhere until he decides it’s time. He has earned his contract and another shot |

If I think back to then Manny said he could see and wanted to play and Gillis said you are not playing and kept him on LTIR. Gillis could not force him to retire and Manny played a few successful years after his Canuck contract expired.
I don't think it would be hard for Benning to get a doctor to say it is dangerous to his health and leave him on LTIR. |

The PA would never allow it. If a doctor clears him to play he is playing. Also, even if this was possible scenario (and it’s not), do you think Benning could strong arm anyone? Other than that p$ssy linden of course |

I think Jim is slicker than most people give him credit for.
I loved his last move " Boeser will take about 8 weeks" soon as we are out of the playoff spot "Boeser is ready"
Magical how that happens |

I think it's an accurate depiction of my feelings on Green. Unfortunately the quality is poop and it's hard to edit photos on a phone. - belcherbd
I can't stop laughing, and yes the quality is poop.

Carter Hart currently has the highest save % of any goalie in NHL history that has played at least 40 games before the end of his age 21 season. .915% in 74 GP
Pretty amazing when you consider the others in that group.
Luongo .914% 71 GP
Vasilevskiy .913% 40 GP
Brodeur .913% 51 GP
Price .912% 93 GP
Looks like the Flyers finally have a goalie.

Yes unfortunately it does....and they also have a good coach, two integral pieces which should help them in the playoffs.
If Vancouver had Markstrom back, they'd have a good goalie, now just have to get a good coach... |

Who are you hoping for?
I am on the same hope to upgrade but I would like to see who becomes available . I would like more options than Gallant |

It is the same crowd who said Boeser 8 x 7.5. , Edler 5x6 , Myers 7x6.
I personally think Jake is playing his last dozen games as a Canuck anyways , so I don't think it will matter what he gets. - VANTEL
lol so no playoffs then? |
