Leivo is just a better pro than Jake, at least from what I can tell. He gets the message, plays the system, and puts in the effort on both sides of the puck. Jake has the potential to be (and at times has been) more impactful, just hasn't put it together consistently. This last stretch of games is very encouraging for him, hopefully JTM is getting through.

I guess as with everything Canucks, it is personal preference, I was never big on Leivo, showed well for a few games and then invisible, then injured. Virtanen is a product of a really poopty coach that I believe is screwing with his development.

Again I can respect others point of view and I like to bust balls with a few posts, but I personally think Greens development of virtanen and Gaudette has been terrible.

But to each there own, good luck for tonight.

I'm curious, how has the development of Gaud been bad? He's improved quite dramatically in his limited time here.

And yes, Jake's development hasn't been the best, but that also started before Green came here. I also think some of his development downs is on him (fitness, play away from the puck, effort)... but like you said, to each their own.
