I believe in this team.

They can do it!

habs need to lose, while the impact needs to win... would be great timing for them to promote soccer a bit, while hockey is now insignificant

For sure, and I think we have a decent team this year too. Having Thierry Henry as a coach should also help raise interest.

It was a heart breaking loss yesterday for the impact.

But they played really well in the 2nd half (what a goal by Taïder!), hopefully this carries on to Honduras for the 2nd game.

Juulsen might come back before the end of the year as well. Maybe next year you'll have your dream defensive duo.

edit: I kinda hate soccer too, but if one pro sports team in Montreal or anywhere in Quebec can have a bit of success I'll take it lol

Thierry Henry seems like the kind of coach who doesn't (frank) around... I hope it won't come to bite him in the ass if the club doesn't perform

I'm not sure they have the tools to play Henry's system. They control the ball better but it's mostly lateral passes at midfield. Nobody seems to be able to beat a guy one on one or find the open space behind the D.

It's a team that historically was a counter-attack team, scored mostly on the rush so it's a complete change of style.

Taider won't be able to score from midfield like that every game.

not saying change isn't good, but in the habs' case, if you can't identify interesting candidates, then why go ahead with the move... Henry seems to be a decent find, but that's only based on his media interviews, so what the (frank) do I know

Well...if you constantly change coaches and get the same poor results, maybe it's because your team sucks.
