The same could be said for every team that made a move

From Flyers blog
One NHL scout told me yesterday that the Under-18 tournament cancellation alone is going to throw a wrench into the process of filling in some blanks on ranking players eligible for the NHL Draft, and the NCAA cancellation plus the current uncertainty over the CHL playoffs and Memorial Cup further complicates matters. He added, however, that every organization is in the same boat and that, above all, he feels for the players.

Draft is normally a crap shoot. Imagine now with 2-3 months and a couple of the big tournaments cancelled.

I'm not sure it would be better or worse to have extra draft picks,

During this time I was thinking about being nice to you , maybe even giving you a hug even though my arms would not reach around your girth. But now here you are ready to battle

you don’t love the US. You love a version of the US only available to a privileged few. The gated private golf course community is not the true reflection of America. There are parts of that country you wouldn’t step foot in. If you did, you and your family wouldn’t be alive for long.

This is unfair and untrue. Yes we live in a gated golf course community when there but we aren’t so naive that we’re unaware of what goes on outside of it or we’ve never been or seen what’s outside of our proverbial bubble. We’ve travelled all over the United States and we love everything about it despite the downside aspects of it.

The teams that have stocked up will certainly be at an extreme advantage. More so than normal.

Staying in 5 star hotels is not really seeing "outside of the proverbial bubble".

I was reading the other day, there are a few stipulations in a couple of the trades that would change what pick a team would get. Sucks for some teams because a few of them were for sure to upgrade.

How can you be sure?

We stay in our 5th wheel

I hope Trump gets another four years.

That's nice

You thought I was serious. I wonder who is really the easy target.

I can't remember exactly all of them and perfect scenario's but if Vatanen went games or rounds played, NJ upgraded picks. If Carolina doesn't play any more games and there is no playoffs.

If Campbell won 6 games TML owed another 2nd or upgraded to a 2nd rounder. He was at 3 wins. Certainly possible from him to get to that number.

If they plan on making the right selections I guess.

They'll probably have better odds than us this year.

Makes you wonder that the prospects will lose a half year of development before their draft. Teams hopefully did their scouting already

I don't remember where I saw it but someone said the scoring of the draft eligible players was so high this year and it's either because the players are that good or the fact that the older players aren't that good, in the CHL.

I'd like another top half 2nd round pick to snap up a player that teams have left behind.

At least that. A first seem's to be a reach.

Look how EP climbed the rankings in his draft year at the very end. Some great under the radar players will available.

@FriedgeHNIC:” One week after an $84-$88 million cap estimate, there is worry it will go below the $81.5 million we’re at for 2019-20. (Some teams were getting ready to present their 2020-21 ticket packages, too.)”
