I don't wish any harm on you ever but yet you've wanted to beat me like a seal cub and now you wish me to get sick.
Pretty sad of you. - manvanfan
You sir are the king of hypocrisy. Nowhere in his post did he wish you to get sick, just like in all your previous posts did you suggest your points of view. He said is looking forward to hear who you blame. Because it is only a matter of time until someone you know, or care about tests positive, that's the nature of a global pandemic. |

Thanks. Can you stand ground while I go to the woodpile? |

Personally I had no problem whatsoever with the trade for Toffoli, the objective of the trade was to make the playoffs and until unforeseen events derailed the season the Canucks were there.
It’s a bit unfair to criticize the trade as a failure and rental without allowing the season to unfold. - Makita
Benning said all year he was searching for a top 6 . I like Toffoli a lot so far. It gives us a true top line. I wasn't a fan of Boeser on the line.
I think this shut down is going to make it fun next year ( not virus related topic) It will turn the draft and cap upside down . The league will have to make concessions for the lost revenue losses league wide. They may award one or two get out of jail free cards with buyouts.
I do hope the cap goes down just to see the shuffling teams would need to do. I do think Toffoli will be a Canuck next year and I think now Markstrom will have to reevaluate how much he is asking for seeing all teams will be hit. |

Here are 9 players I had ahead of Madden . You can add Graovac and Bailey to the list of call ups also. Then you can go to the players like Sven Boucher and Goldobin.
The only real thing Madden had in his corner was he was a center.
You have to get use to the fact that some of these players will never be a Canuck and will be used as currency to fix holes in other areas. - VANTEL
I'm all for this last part. If you will recall, I was the conductor of the trade Horvat train two years ago. I am, however, fully against trying to fill holes in a leaky boat by using the wood that is filling other holes. It was too soon to be stripping away the future to fix the now. There isn't enough there now, there is no surplus, and Benning is digging his hole deeper and deeper as the season wore on. |

What is my exact point of view? I don't want any misinformation out there.
Do you currently have family or friends that have contradicted the virus? Who are you blaming?

I'm blaming you. No, I don't have any family or friends confirmed, yet. I don't know your point of view, that was my entire point. You got in a lengthy argument with RC and your défense was "I didn't say that". You poke the bear, start a fight and then say "It wasn't me". Just like your racist bullpoop today. |

That's where we differ . You view the team as a leaky boat . I look at it as a speedboat being built. Bad analogy but you get the picture. You think they are plugging holes I think they are building a winner. |

You're a little late on that. The children ran to their thread and i've eaten a candy coated bats spread the virus.
The funny part is that if you post ANYTHING in here. It's automatic that, that person is a serious believer in it. Even though that Isn't really true at all, especially in my case but they are talking points.
You want to know why i "poke the bear" because in times like this, people show who they really are. It's really easy to find out things about people when they are told something that they don't like or believe in. It's really fascinating how people act. |

I don't know, you seemed pretty hurt about the whole thing. There's an old fable about a boy, and a wolf, I think you know the one. |

I am hoping it is a priority. To me it is just as important as Markstrom . |

I don't think the depth of talent is significant past the guys who have already made it, and fingers crossed on the first two picks from last year, who I don't expect to contribute for another two+ years. Maybe you get Fatty/Benn type minutes from on of the D, not exactly exciting. Didn't care for the Madden pick, kid is so small, but he proved at world Juniors and in college this year to be better than I thought. To me that's worth keeping to see where it goes. |

If they resign Markstrom, Toffoli and replace or resign Tanev, and it doesn't cost them another 1st or 2nd round pick to do it I'm happy to eat a big crow pie.
Not worried about Leivo, for instance, Jake might be a problem/casualty |

Hurt about what? I'm not even sure what you think I could be hurt about by what i've said. Maybe because i'm defended people from others that I feel are acting a bit disrespectful.
Here ya go. The information we received from Codes and others on here has been great. I'm a person that wants as much info as possible to sift through. Do I know that humans can go from one extreme to another for sure. Some think that they should have locked down the world, others think it's ok I won't get it. You'll find me somewhere in the middle.
I'm not an extremest and can find justification for people doing almost anything that they do. |

Yeah I can see Toffoli being a Canuck next season, it will be interesting how the league deals with several situations such as salary cap, upcoming draft, contracts, buyouts.
I’m sure they are trying to build a framework, but with everything put on hold until who knows when, must make it hard on them. |
