Because they want to keep him, but 30M a year was crazy, and restructuring can bring that cap to a more realistic number for him. He's not bad, he's just not a top5/8 qb either. Trust me, coming from a GB fan and someone who watches every Vikings game. They could do a lot worse (and have recently)
