You have been wrong for the past week. Pretty much each post from the stock market to you playing at the casino as late as sunday or Monday this week.

This is going to crush the us economy.
The death toll is going to be very high
The stock market did not bounce back, instead dropped to under 20,000

The vaccine may come out before this virus peaks.

I never said when the stock market was going to bounce back, only that it will eventually bounce back, just like it eventually did from 2008. It did not happen overnight. My portfolio will be fine, as will most who keep staying the course and invest for the long-term. If you're a day trader who makes his living on the stock market, that's a different story. I will admit, however, I did not think it would get this bad, nor did I think the economy would completely hit the pause button the way it has. It's going to take the economy longer to recover than I thought, but make no mistake, it will recover. Whether that's a year from now, or four years from now is a question for the economists, but we are not at a point of no return.

And my comment about the virus running its course isn't so much about the virus itself, so much as it just takes long for any drug/vaccine to get approved, even when it's fast tracked like the ones being tested for Coronavirus.

Trade a 4th or 5th to move up in the 2nd round?
Maybe get lucky and stay put.

Fair enough. My point was that some of the past optimism appears to be fading.

I still think this is going to be life altering economic consequences for most Americans.

Things bounce back in time. It's the time being that's gonna be tough.

Imagine having a job that is off the books. Will the government cover their - non taxed jobs? No record of income ect.

Yes it’s misinformed paranoid morons that don’t trust science. There is absolutely no credible evidence that vaccines are harmful especially the flu vaccine. And by the way, there are flu vaccines without the mercury for those who are worried about that, even though it’s not the same type of mercury that’s toxic to people.
