Good news: Virus is killing people in less then 1% of cases in US.

There are a number of factors. Perhaps a less nonchalant attitude gets people to start social distancing earlier. However, the test kit issue is a CDC one that pre-dates even Obama. It was never designed to handle this sort of volume.

3 months ago the virus wasn't that serious in our country and it still isn't. 174 dead so far. He is the President of the United States not the world. What was he supposed to do 3 months ago? Put everybody in self quarantine? Close all businesses? The only thing he should have done was ban all international flights and not bring any American Citizens who had it back to the states. Even if he did that, I'm sure it would have found it's way here.
