If the season is cancelled, will the draft order stay the same?
Will it include the "playoff seeded teams"
%'s change. Sucks for Ottawa the most - Boss34
that's gonna be real interesting...
when would they hold the draft?...if it was on it's usual date it might be during or after the playoffs dependent upon what they do |

Agreed. But don't you think Frazier's schemes and that secondary will counter that? - Michael Pachla
To a degree
Imagine his schemes + the addition of a stud pass rusher
Wouldn’t they be even more effective? |

Early 90's was a great time to be out here. Just think about this. In San Francisco they banned plastic straws, but its legal to shoot up in public. Their workers have been instructed to wear puncture proof boots to avoid getting stuck by the needles all over the streets. - c1067

It's a situation where Pegula probably watched him at Pegula Ice Arena at Penn State and told Botterill to go get that boy |

They did sign Addison. He had 9.5 last year in 15 games. The three years before that: 9, 11, 9.5. - JetpackJesus
And we lost the 2 guys who had the most sacks for us last season (Phillips & Lawson)
We return NO ONE who has over 5 sacks for us last season
Addison is another #2 rusher
Which is ok
But we already have that in Hughes & Murphy
Need a true #1 guy who getting 12+ sacks
That’ll make Hughes more effective on the other side (plus inside rushers), put more pressure on opposing QBs forcing them into quicker decisions which results in more turnovers |

I wouldnt overpay for any edge rushers in terms of cap or draft capital. The secondary provides ample opportunity for coverage sacks. Hell, the Bills secondary got two former Bills $30m contracts this offseason. Rushers should be plug and play with this defense
I think Shaq was the beneficiary of a good defense, not the other way around |

I did read some good things on him...he has solid numbers, he's a captain and a leader who takes his job seriously but is a prankster in the locker room and doesn't seem to take himself that seriously...real character guy...if anything he's a character guy who may have a chance |

U could argue 9.5 inside from Phillips was on the border of studly
But we are gonna need to be better than last year facing much better teams, and better QBs & passing offenses
The idea here is to get from a really good defense to a truly dominant one
To do that,
we absolutely need a legit #1 pass rusher
Many say it’s now the 2nd most important position in football behind QB |

yeah...I get that...and we should be...to what extent is up to the individual, but imo this is botterill's make or break off season...and what an off season it is |

am of the opinion that i'd rather use cap-space and term on an o-line upgrade than worry about the type of d-stud I believe you're thinking about |

Why’s that matter?
Make it work
I’d rather have a stud rusher making $15-20mil than Murphy & Star for example
I think we still have over $50mil in room right now anyways, don’t we? |
