Bills get Diggs from Vikes.

Bills acquired WR Stefon Diggs and a 2020 seventh-round pick from the Vikings in exchange for 2020 first-, fifth-, and sixth-rounds picks and a 2021 fourth-round pick.

- SABRES 89

Great move. We had extra picks to burn.

So basically a first for diggs

I mean that’s a weird way of looking at it but I feel they paid a premium due to the fact he has a very appealing contract.

Allen has no more excuses.

I'd rather trade the 22nd pick for a pro bowl player, that fills a need then use the pick and draft a Josh Doctson

pick 40 and a rb with a bad contract for hopkins

or pick 22 and scraps for diggs

in a cap era, I'll take diggs and the not have the bad contract

I’m not disagreeing with you at all, seeing what Cooper just got reinforces it more.

Diggs is a 1B/2A with a solid contract who will out perform that cap hit (what I’m crying for the Sabres to find hence why I complain about Skinner’s deal)

The Bills also paid a hefty price for the marginal revenue. It’s a good deal for both teams.

Diggs is a huge upgrade for Josh Allen and should give the entire offense a sizable boost, but Diggs also gets a bit of a downgrade at quarterback, moving to Allen rom Kirk Cousins.

I guess it qualifies as a bit...

Every game I've ever watched Cousins play.. he has played poorly.

Trading that draft capital for Diggs was the right move for the Bills and should be done 10/10, all im saying was it wasn’t cheap by any sense of the imagination.

True. Saw they got AJ Klein too. Gotta make sure the line is rock solid. Might as well go all in while QB is on rookie contract now get a monster pass rusher.

Diggs probably would've been a lot higher on that list if Cousins showed up for the first 1/4 of the season.

The 5th and 6th round picks are as someone wrote "house money" it is the 1st and the 4th that is the big cost. They are going to get a 4th in a compensatory pick for losing Shaq Lawson, they got the 7th in this deal and didn't they have extra picks? I don't feel like looking it up.

It's funny, nobody believed Diggs when he said "no, for real this time. Changes are coming".

Bills had scouted some WRs for an early pick, came away less than thrilled.

Getting Diggs is plug and play. No learning curve like with rookie WR.

Bill's feel they're in window with Allen on rookie deal.

The Bills had two 5ths and three 6ths before the trade. So they will still pick in every round of the draft except the first this year.

EDIT: Curious which 5th and 6th Bills gave up. They had the 10th and 22nd pick in 5th, and the 9th, 22nd, and 28th in the 6th.
