I like your takes...
Stock up, remain in your home.
If everyone did just that the infectious rate would start decreasing.

- sgk56

Business and governments can aid in that though.

I would have loved to have been working from home long before tomorrow.

mom's green bean recipe:

cut up some bacon into smaller pieces, fry it up and leave it in the pan with some of the grease...add green beans, saute'...add salt and pepper to taste then finish it off with some bread crumbs

- Michael Pachla

Evelyn added a table spoon of brown mustard and a teaspoon of maple syrup.

By that logic,
who hires the GM?

- jdfitz77

Nice try.

Ultimately, yes, the owner bears the responsibility, and it trickles down from there with less and less.

I might get laid off as soon as tomorrow because I work for the government in student loans.

They want people to work from home but they might shut down everything for borrowers. Sucks.

I do pretty well

I can't believe I haven't seen this given all the absurdities.

Kinds seems like you defend his ineptitude in regards to taking the virus serious. Mike couldn't be laying this out more correctly.

I've said before, small business owners in construction, roofing, window installers and remodeling ect. Have been doing extremely well.

- Boss34

This is gonna kill a ton of businesses.

I think people are severely under rating the effect it’s going to have

That’s unfortunate, you seem like a smart guy though and if you do well there you’ll do well elsewhere.

That would be about it. China has already peaked and it only took 2 and a half months.... We are about halfway there. Of course I question the motive of the media saying this...
- rapperray

They locked people in their homes and kidnapped them off the street, and went into their homes and dragged them out. It's a lot easier for an authoritarian country to stem the tide. That would never fly if they tried that here. Some (frank) face in Kentucky repeatedly refused to follow quarantine so the governor had to use emergency powers to post an armed cop outside the guy's house.

There's another video where there's a pickup with a box in the bed where they load people into it.

https://www.nbcnews.com/n...over-coronavirus-n1133096

It's after the one that's the same as above. I didn't want to be accused of using NBC news as the main source.

I'm not saying it's not going to burn out in a couple months, but it's apples and oranges.

Flagged this on accident.

Problem is I’d have to start over as en entry level employee somewhere.

And with this virus idk who would be hiring.

Hoping this all ends soon

Why wouldn't you get your job back after though? I would think that having to train a bunch of new people when they're back up and running would be prohibitively expensive.

I should but who knows.

If we’re off for too long we could cut staff.

I am preparing for the worst tbh A

serious question

did you fear that the way you fear this?

99% of the people will say no

- homiedclown

No, because we had a vaccine and Tamiflu and Relenza for H1N1, because H1N1 was a strain of influenza.

I also don't fear this. I do recognize that it is a much bigger problem though. Regardless of what bumhole occupies the Oval Office.

Trump and the right wing propaganda machine downplayed this as long as they could. As little as 9 days ago trump said the flu is deadlier. Disputing this is crazy.

I really don't think it matters though. It was already here and was already going to spread. The problem is that there's a subsection of people who the propaganda melted their brains. Like kid rock saying he won't close his bar in nashville. Nashville that is seeing 45% daily growth, higher than anywhere in the world.

- robz228

To be fair, it was Kid Rock's partner saying they wouldn't close, Kid Rock was smart enough to keep his mouth shut. At least the stories I saw. The guy also closed all three of his restaurants the next day, the day after.

2018 OL: Dawkins (sophmore slump) - Ducasse - Bodine - Miller - Mills
2020 OL: Dawkins - Spain - Morse - Feliciano - Year 2 Ford

neato.

And, Cordy Glenn and John Miller were both cut by the worst team in the league. Good stuff.

Bills also went to Clemson pro days for OL's Gage Cervenka and Sean Pollard

I think these guys are late round or UDFAs, but you know they're looking hard at doing some mining for the OL

Businesses of all types showed in the time after the 2008 housing crisis, bailouts, and market crash, that they'll use events like that and this as an excuse to thin out their staffing, under the guise of it being temporary, when it really is a way to become more profitable.

I'm hoping that does not happen to you sir.

This thing better pick up soon. And you don't have to be a "Trumptard" or "Foxhead" to be pissed off about what is going on. If there aren't significant deaths happening then this country needs to get back to work. No doubt that this virus has been in the US since the beginning of the year, I honestly think I had it about a month and a half ago, and literally "self quarantined" myself because that's what we do when we are sick. You'll see how quick the narrative and panic shifts from this health scare to recession/depression soon and you won't ever hear about Covid again, you'll hear about Trumps Recession.

The team has improved at quite a few positions. It all boils down to Allen taking the next step.
