Here's one that just boggles my mind so help me out here..... How does releasing inmates help to battle this virus?

Crime is going to skyrocket. Police agencies around country are stopping arresting people for non violent crimes for the foreseeable future. Courts are closing down and not even handling cases

So the WHO didn’t do their job and relied on a corrupt China yet you blame trump. Also some facts: the WHO never offered test kits to the US.

As the United States struggled to launch testing for the novel coronavirus using kits developed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization shipped hundreds of thousands of tests to countries around the world.

No discussions occurred between WHO and the CDC about providing tests to the United States, WHO spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic told CNN on Tuesday, and WHO did not offer coronavirus tests to the CDC.

The United States, Jasarevic confirmed, doesn't ordinarily rely on WHO for tests because the US typically has the capacity to manufacture its own diagnostics.

The CDC does tests in this country. They started making tests same day as WHO but messed up. Cling on to your hatred of Trump because he’s the president but your hatred is misplaced.

- Fattony1187

the uscdc was alerted to the situation January 13

on January 17 who published a protocol from german scientists with instructions necessary for any country to manufacture coronavirus tests. no they didn't offer them to the cdc but the cdc had to be aware of them and opted to stick with u.s. test...and yes, those failed

who published their first situation report on jan 21...

on January 31 they declared it a global emergency...

and president sunshine didn't take it seriously even though who and the cdc were well aware of what was happening

Was the first country to lock down travel from China even as Democrats called him racist.

Because he wasn’t panicking during his speeches makes him handle things “poorly?” Gtfoh

And then proceeded to act like this was no big deal and that it wasn’t going to affect us until a week ago

Even dismantled the Pandemic Preparedness Office which was created by Obama

Only someone extremely biased towards trump could try to argue that dismantling this office & no longer having top experts in the field to help make critical decisions about how to react to this hasn’t been detrimental

Even if it’s true about China lying to us & hiding info, etc
trump was still acting like this was no big deal as it ravaged Italy

Both Trump and Trudeau are at minimum one week late on the mandatory self-quarantines.

We’ll see how much damage is done in the weeks following because of it.

Made one last bet on the inverse again today, we‘ll see what happens tomorrow. I think the bottom is near though, another few weeks me thinks.

If I am not mistaking every one of those people were moved to a different agency with the same responsibilities. It was a move to eliminate administration costs. So the media interpreted that to mean the work done by those people was eliminated....

Totally agree with your timeline. This 18 month thing that was thrown around yesterday is useless fodder.

Didn’t dismantle team. They were still employed. Good myth though. Not panicking on TV doesn’t mean he wasn’t taking it serious.

this topic is about life and death

the others are not?

- homiedclown

This topic also has huge economic & social ramifications

Were u stocking up on 3months of food a year ago bc of gun & automobile deaths??

YOU yourself are even showing through your own actions how much bigger a deal this is

AND
those things are still INDEPENDENT of this issue
And not tied to it in any way, shape or form

The virus will last another 12 months, I just think the market bottom will come before the epidemic peak/trough.

those are facts...you're annoyed by facts?

let's get to more facts, here are some quotes from the hero in orange:

--January 22: "we have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from china"

--February 2: "we pretty much shut it down comind in from china. It's going to be fine"

--February 24: "the Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA...Stock Market starting to look very good"

--February 25: "I think that's a problem that's going to go away. They have studied it. They know very much. In fact we're very close to a vaccine"

--February 27: "One day it's like a miracle, it will disappear"

and that's not even mentioning his quotes on the cruise ship and how it's better off at sea so the numbers don't look bad

Gerbe... We all have had dislike for a president or 2 but most of us still respected the office he holds. Michael seems to have no respect for it.... Name calling of any president is non productive..

I get how this impacts people

if this happened 15 years ago, I would be in a really bad place

right now, I am in a place where I can ensure we are fine if we didn't leave our house for 2 months

Sounds like a lot of existing medicines can be a vaccine. Let’s hope.
