She’s probably going to shut even though she’s still doing business. I’m hearing of lots of people back from States breaking their quarantine. I think these gradual steps governments are taking are not nearly aggressive enough.

I know one of the Ford dealerships is still doing service work and they’re giving courtesy rides home even to one customer who told them he was supposed to be in isolation. The sales person I know who works there went in and blasted the general manager

You have a good point.

But I think if you told them a tsunami was going to hit the beach, they’d still be there. It’s not to get revenge on the boomers, it’s that they’re going to do whatever they want anyways.

It seems like in Italy everyone is in close quarters with each other.

Italy’s population is over 60 million and their land size is 300,000 square km.

Canada has 37 million people and almost 10 million square kms. Outside of the big cities in Canada as long as no one comes in to contact or contracts the virus most of the smaller cities should be ok as long as this self distancing works.

I'm only there because between now and June, I NEED to change my vehicle before I move out east. I figured get it done now in case they do shut down.

Still made the negotiate over the phone as opposed to face to face. And I'm trading my car to them and losing thousands to avoid selling it privately and having a bunch of people coming to the house for test drives and crap.

I assume online grocery shopping (with planned delivery for next 3-5 days) is still quite easy in Canada.

I would urge you guys to do so asap - and get a 4-6 week stock of meat, fish, vegetables and other food and necessary items.

(Canada is a bit more advanced than Spain for sure in these things - but I'm not able to do any online grocery shopping anymore and my order for today was not made ready (I assume because of lots of people couldn't show up to work who had to prepare my pickup order))
