Poop is going to get real.
A couple epidemiologists have suggested that the isolation period may need to be 18 months to be effective. That's simply not possible.
Governments may be forced to make hard decisions about calling this thing off, and allowing the virus to thin the herd.
Yes, I am a franking bumhole for asking this, but at what point does it no longer make sense to destroy the global economy to stop the spread of a virus that is only killing seniors? They've had their time. Their financial contributions to the economy are reduced.
If young people develop a resistance, it might be better to get it overwith.
And I say tbis with two parents in their mid-80s. If my mom gets this, she will die. |

I watched Risky Business a month ago. It was meh.
I really can't watch anything with Tom Cruise anymore. His freakishness is just too distracting. |

there are several other scenarios possible as well.
lockdown 4 weeks and then be ready to test all suspected of infection, scale up IC capacity, other intervention measures ready etc.
currently several existing medications are being repurposed.
trials starting whether BCG vaccine might provide some additional protection for healthcare workers and elderly.
btw - in Italy (over 400 deaths yesterday alone) young adults dying as well - it's not just a 70y+ disease..

Yeah my mom and brother would both be in trouble with this virus too.
Certainly it seems like major social changes could happen. The fallout is hard to wrap my mind around. |

My bad, I agree.
So of the old classics are not so classic when you watch them after many years have gone by.
Eddie Murphy's Delirious. - Not so much after 25 years. |

Kids should watch Evil Dead 2 and John Carpenter's The Thing
Also The Witch is one of the best horror movies ever and no one takes the recommendation.
A really good overlooked Arnie movie The Long Goodbye. More of a cameo appearance but still a great film. - Zezel
Great horror film is Session 9. Creepy as (frank).

The Evil Dead franchise was great. I love Bruce Campbell vs the army of darkness. Freaking hilarious. So were the first two to a degree, but they were more unintentionally funny. By the third, they had fully embraced the fact that the movies were more comedy than horror.
Bruce Campbell had some great B movies lol. Bubba Ho-Tep and My name is Bruce were awesome too.
In fact, I think I need to re-watch My name is Bruce. I love the scene in his trailer when he's draining every mostly empty bottle and throwing it, and he has like 30 of them spread all over. - Thecakeisalie
I happen to think the 2013 Evil Dead remake is one of the very best horror remakes ever |

It amazes me that Trump acts like none of his comments are documented. And if you call him on his lies and flip-flopping opinions it's "Fake News". |

Flu kills lots of people. Kids spread the flu. Why not stop it at the source. Unlike seniors kids donβt vote.
