Trump was golfing with Corona hitting it's peak. But they'll be no time for golf he said..

Sadly, I have too much time.

I'm on vacation this week.

Wife and kids are doing yoga in the basement right now. As soon as it is done, I spend the rest of the day dejunking.

Great franking vacation.

You are right. That's a big reason he keeps winning. He used this act his entire life. He would go on shows and claim The Apprentice was #1 in the ratings when it wouldn't crack the top 30. Billy Bush had a great story about calling him on that.

I do think with the economy tanking though it may be the end of him.

- RogerRoeper

You would think but.... that country really is nuts. He still has a huge approval rating from Republicans and there are still a big chunk of wing nut “economists” saying this is not the time to give in to hand outs to individuals because it would undermine personal self reliance. Corporate bailouts are cool though. By the way, Boeing is asking for $60B and Trump is sympathetic.

I had to laugh within 48 hrs of shutdowns, Vegas Casinos were asking for a bailout.

I saw an interesting suggestion on the interdweebs:

Any corporation taking a bailout is prohibited from issuing corporate bonuses for X months.

Poop is going to get real.

A couple epidemiologists have suggested that the isolation period may need to be 18 months to be effective. That's simply not possible.

Governments may be forced to make hard decisions about calling this thing off, and allowing the virus to thin the herd.

Yes, I am a franking bumhole for asking this, but at what point does it no longer make sense to destroy the global economy to stop the spread of a virus that is only killing seniors? They've had their time. Their financial contributions to the economy are reduced.

If young people develop a resistance, it might be better to get it overwith.

And I say tbis with two parents in their mid-80s. If my mom gets this, she will die.

- Atomic Wedgie

I think the balanced view is let's "flatten the curve" (learning to hate that expression) until we can get some reasonably effective drugs to combat the pneumonia, hopefully for a couple months.

Then we let it go. We won't stop 100% of deaths but we will stop a lot. At some point we do need to establish some immunity in society. Eradication is not possible.

Clearly long term isolation is not a reasonable solution.

His films are so poop.

The Mission Impossible franchise is poop.

Jerry McGuire is the worst sports film ever made (or at least was until Draft Day was made).

He over-acted in Born on the Fourth of July.

I did like the Outsiders, though.

Draft day was right up there among the worst, most stupid, movies I have ever seen.

Don't pretend you aren't excited. Basement and/or garage dejunking is one of the few pleasures I have left. I'll be in the basement dejunking today too. Beer fridge just happens to be down there.

My take on the shutting down of crowds, schools and isolation seems to be that its gradually working. The numbers of cases are only going up in equal group amounts and not by multiples like some places. For example in Ontario you here every day 20 - 30 new cases being reported. The same every day adding up, 20 to 40 to 60 to 80 to 100 and so on... Its when its multiples that's when the poop hits the fan, 20 to 40 to 80 to 160 to 320 to 640. It makes sense to me but everyone else can take it for what its worth.
- Buck Norris

I say we know in another 10 days or so. The new cases right now are likely predominantly people who were infected before travel bans or in close contact with those people.

In another 10 days, any new cases are more likely to be community spread.

I still believe we will not see the kind of sudden growth they say in Italy or Iran, even though our numbers so far seem to be close to the progression we saw in Italy.

I must confess I have only seen the last half, but so much of it is franking embarrassing.

Only Kevin Costner knew that the woman in the stands that the player gave the foitball to was his dying sister? Are we really supposed to believe that?

Or a GM will panic in front of his entire staff and ask a rival GM what he should do?

Or a GM will trade back 3 1st overall picks to move up one franking slot in the draft?

How does poop like this get made? They could franking hire me to read the script and tell them it was laughible.

Kinda like when they hired Matt Damon to work on Honey and the Beez.

Sooooooooo adding Stuck on You to my movie list.

I have spent $100,000 over the last 8 years for a storage locker, to hold $600 worth of junk I no longer want or need.

the Imperial College forecast 2.2 million deaths in the U.S. and 560,000 in the U.K. without dire action. That's why Trump and Johnson change course so dramatically in the last few days.

I really don't know what kind of testing is going on in Canada. A nurse I talked to yesterday said Ontario is concentrating on health professionals right now. I can't think of any reason why our growth would be any different than the States and their numbers are just starting to take off. I think the numbers that are really going to matter are ICU beds, protective gear, ventilators, etc.
