I wish we were taking more proactive measures than reactive. I'd personally like to see a lockdown and everything closed outside of essential services. The numbers dont really do this thing justice, people with symptoms are being told to stay in and self isolate while testing is reserved for elderly and healthcare. I think its probably safe to say that our local numbers are a fraction how many are actually confirmed.

There were 1700 hospital admissions in New York city. It's already scary in north america. We need a full scale world lockdown now, and not when healthcare workers are nearing capacity. Results have shown that aggressive testing and mandatory lockdowns have been the given the best results towards flattening this curve. We need to be proactive instead of reactive.

Two of my co workers have family (extended) who have contracted it. Its inching closer and closer to us. Panicking is never the answer, but neither is downplaying or being complacent. We must be informed, must be proactive, must stay safe.

Just add. Lefty's daughter got it. Darius and his wife had a scare and are people who CANT get it as they are immunocompromised. I'm not telling people to panic, but please dont downplay it for others.
