You are so naive. You probably think each team will get a compliance buyout whenever they reconvene.
It only applies to players who signed contracts, and played in other leagues. - 1970vintage
Right, which during the lockout was a large number of players. I think it could have worked out eother way, but i could easy see an arbiter ruling in favor of the flames in that scenario given the lockout and actual intention of the rule. |

Just like the Canucks would never have to pay a recapture penalty should Luongo choose to retire?
Just take the L |

That’s not really an argument that i made, that’s what’s called a straw man(as it has nothing to do with what we’re talking about). I’m more than happy to admit when I’m wrong, but the way that international waiver rule is written doesnt actually preclude how the lockout would change how it is interpreted. The way that it is wriitten assumes that a regular nhl season was being played, which was not the case. |

I think it was that be played in the KHL after the NHL season started. Players played in other leagues but care back for the NHL.
You can argue all you want, but seeing how every major sports person/network lays it out stating he would have had to go through waivers, seems like they’d know more than you. |

It'd be a bit middling if that's what the movies were like, but for a TV show I thought it was pretty spot on. Simple, straight-forward space cowboy |

Ya I get that the trilogy stuff can't really be like that but wow what a nice change. Ironic that the non-trilogy stuff is the best like Rogue One and the Mandalorian. Solo was decent but nowhere near as good as Rogue One. |

I heard they might make a Knights of the Old Republic movie, which could be amazing. Loved those games.
Solo was pretty bad overall. This is a pretty funny take on it: https://youtu.be/KQs_Oy9JRys |

Ya I also heard the Obi Wan series is in the works too.
I didn't mind Solo. Wasn't stellar but had good moments. Still better than Force Awakens and Last Jedi which were bloody awful...but that's not saying much lol |

We have a tendency to gravitate to the things we grew up with as kids. The original trilogy has a lot of impact for me and what Lucas was able to accomplish with those 3 films was pretty remarkable IMO. The prequels and most of the Disney stuff you can take/leave but for modern stuff Rogue One and the Mandalorian are very well done. Surprisingly so actually. |

It's always hit and miss... Obi Wan could be a great movie, or couple of movies, or just be disastrous |

After hearing some reports from the medical and political it is hard to imagine a hockey season.
It has been close to two weeks so far of what was suppose to be isolation and it feels like we are not even close to beginning yet. The beaches at Kits full , Robson street full.
People need to start taking this more serious because the people that ignore it make the people following the rules quarantine much longer. |

I hate people. Luckily last night in downtown victoria, it was completely empty and dead. No one in sight. Prior to last night though, we had parks and beaches full of people/kids after they were officially closed. People are stupid. |

This is just the beginning for us in Canada, it’s going to get much worse before it gets better. From what I’ve been told by Nurses, is, there’s a lot more cases than what’s being reported. June/July will be peak for us. |

I would be really happy if it was April . If the government steps in and closes public places then April seems likely . |
