Can we start this thread with:
Hoarding ≠ stocking up on supplies for a couple weeks and staying off the streets and away from other people...including grocery store clerks. FACT.
Hoarding ≠ stocking up on supplies for a couple weeks when cities are ordering mandatory quarantines for 2 weeks.
THIS IS NOT A SUPPLY ISSUE, it is a fast demand issue.
Some of you fu3king know-it-all guys on here are such a$$ hats.
Don't hoard but TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES AND YOUR FAMILIES AND BE PREPARED for LONG TERM home quarantine orders. It's not too complicated. |

Thank you, that’s a really ugly thing to accuse someone of.
Add to that a few things, I’m going to be 67 in May. I doubt the virus would kill if I got it, but I’d likely be pretty sick. Even if going to the store a few extra times might not make a big difference, I don’t feel I have to apologize to anybody for wanting to look after myself.
Everybody is telling us as a social responsibility to limit our time out and about to mitigate the spread of the virus. Bigger shops is exactly what we should all be doing.
And, as you say, hoarding applies in times of shortage. THERE IS NO FOOD SHORTAGE. |

I don't mind at all if people buy a poop ton of stuff as long as its to get them and there family thru this crisis. Its the (frank)ing rejects that have hoarded and are popping up here and there trying to sell poop to make a profit. (frank)ing burns my crank... |

One of the problems of buying groceries online is the proportions. I made tomato basil soup and needed 2 cups of basil and ordered too many of those plastic containers. I wish sure I was going to be able to corner the basil market and make a mint until it all went bad. |

Actually we can expect shortages of everything including food. Yesterday 14 million Americans were laid off - that's a big number. Smaller work force and smaller supply chain. Food and produced goods will become more expensive and we will face a smaller supply. Less workers, less people to pick apples and less to drive the trucks to deliver. This situation is not going to be easy, no toilet paper is an inconvenience, when you start seeing no fresh produce and only hot dogs in the meat section it may be a little different. People expecting this to be over in a month or two are dreaming. |

A grade of c- for Barrie?? What the heck was expected of the guy? His ppg of 0.56 is in very good company as far as d-men go. Especially when you take into account his poor start. If he can be signed for Muzzin money, or even a bit more I'd take him in my top four all day long. Sometimes you don't appreciate what you have till he's doing it for some other team against you. |

You’re right the longer this lasts the more impacts. In fact success in flattening the curve might protect hospitals from a surge but will also extend the time it takes for the virus to work through the system. |

Yes everyone is hunkering down for the most part. I’ve heard stories about some snowbirds not doing the right thing, but it could just be rumours. |

People buying all the TP were being infantile, but naturally there's going to be pressure on stock levels of stores under these circumstances. Think of all the meals out people aren't having. Meanwhile the supply chain is fine. The most important thing is taking this thing seriously and practicing distancing and hygeine. |

Im sure this has been thought of before, but teams who have drafted well get put into the penalty box with the salary cap and have to trade players they have drafted. the NHL should have provisions within the cap that if you draft a player their salary is exempt from the cap. |

I went grocery shopping for a few things a few days ago. I was mostly trying to get a few things I couldn't find on my last trip, plus a few new things. Lo and behold! I saw someone in the middle of re-stocking toilet paper rolls!
The amusing thing to me is that everyone went out and bought all the toilet paper, but there was never a shortage of soap. Sure, people bought all the hand sanitizer, but no one bought extra soap. I mean, one of the main ways recommended to help fight this outbreak is by washing your hands properly on a regular basis. You'd think that would require a greater than usual amount of soap being used. |

People just really don't want to have stink ass while they're being gang raped and cannibalized a few months from now. |

People want to look their best while rotating over a fire. Of course, a lot of creatures void their bowels upon death, so they should probably carry around a roll so the nice cannibals can clean them up at the end. |

World Scientific Journal now reporting that women giving their husbands or boyfriends BJs may boost immunity and kill coronavirus.
Still too early to be certain, but the International Epidemiologists Alliance is urging all female citizens to do their part.

Whoever’s next in line for the spit will have the job of preparing the meal, including the cleanup.
I think I’ll watch The Road tonight. |

It intuitively makes sense that it would work.
I remember a while back there was a study that said women who swallow have less breast tumours. I love when male researchers just blatantly make poop up for a press release.
Seriously though, if you're in a relationship right now where you're going to be exposed to each other's germs regardless, that's good. I've had to forgo some potential sex because I just wasn't willing to risk being on a ventilator for poontang. |
