my lasting memory of ehrhoff is him turning away from the puck to avoid the hit in the SCF. enraged me at the time. now i just sigh.

ohlund is the best. great combination of toughness, skill and defence... and he dropped the mitts against iginla. respect!

Why put a limit on it! I think tanev will be back. We cant afford much after that, but Toffoli is at the top of the list for me. After that i would mind a cheap shortterm vet dman. Kevin miller, trevor daley, and ron hainsey all come to mind. Keep the term and price down but get some solid depth. If we get those two things, ill be pretty happy.

Stecher is likely to get traded just for cap reasons. I like the kid, but for an undrafted ufa to become actually valuable is a big win for JB imo. Wondering what happens there

Toffoli is top on my list . With him on the line I think Canucks have a real top line.

Marky would be second but if cost is to high I turn to a player like Lehner

There are so many ways to go with the D that I will leave that for the GM . It also depend on if prospects are ready.

I think forwards are okay and they should focus on D and even more important get rid of bad contracts.

Thanks Carol....and you're very welcome for the recommendation. It's the very least I can so for all of your great work and dedication here. That particular album and movie changed the way I view music and my playing...and life in general. It really is like a warm blanket.

Thanks Carol, I'll be careful not to let my wife see the cleaning for 30 days calendar, I have enough on my plate already.

A couple other albums you might enjoy while you're pounding out your writing assignments.

In a similar genre to the Buena Vista Social Club is Seu Jorge - The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions. It's Spanish Guitar versions of a bunch of David Bowie tracks. https://www.youtube.com/w...VpCq2srPHNoMLg0gMzojDao3v

I also really like Paul Anka's return to popular culture (from a decade ago) with his swing versions of some classic rock songs. https://www.youtube.com/w...ACZV18A1KK6dzgSE-TquiZoS0

have a great day all, even Don.

After looking through the NHL teams best defenceman lists, ours actually isn’t that bad. Do you know Tyson Barrie is the Colorado Avalanche’s all-time leading dman for points

Ya i agree, forgot about marky. I agree Lehner is a good second option, but he will also have a lot of options.

We used to play it at a steakhouse in Bermuda all the time, along with Buble, Matt Dusk, Harry Connick Jr., Frank, etc. Reminds me of days gone by.

I think there are about 6 decent goalies that are UFA's . The cap will affect a lot of teams.

If Demko was ready Canucks could have even looked at Lundqvist for a year and trade off a guy like Sutter but I don't think Demko is ready .

We take a step back without Marky in net, we aren't even in the conversation before the 'pause' for the playoffs without him. Demko isn't ready and the rest of the UFA goalies are barely NHL backup quality.
