guys a very serious question for input from your side.
how much would you be willing to crowd-fund a trial to protect health care workers from covid-19 disease - based on this concept?
https://foreignpolicy.com...-health-care-workers-bcg/
(and do you think that this is something the general public would be willing to support?)
thank you for your feedback. |

My feedback: that's the role of government, not of individual citizens.
I wouldn't be willing to contribute a dime of my own money. |

thanks..
it is very tough.
people apparently are willing to pay up for protective masks etc. - but, somehow this is seen in a different light...
our gov'ts are franked up and definitely not prepared to make decisions on this type of outbreaks - a *non defined* european gov't already took the decision not to fund this.. (i would agree with you that this should be funded by govt's , seems like a no brainer to do this - unfortunately not..) |

Maybe they should ask people who horde masks to give them to people who need them
A friend of mine has 6 boxes, yes boxes so like 100 masks in her basement. She won’t let them go.
It not only sucks for medical workers who are 100% the priority here. But even my workers in the electrical business can’t get a mask right now. A little frustrating. |

I’m not opposed to the idea of individuals raising money to fill shortfalls. I’m more concerned about being unable to assess the risks associated with the approach. If every government, pharma and foundation staying away I’d be really worried about the legal liability and all the associated complications of some little go fund me stepping in |

Didn’t see that. Just skimmed the article. Why aren’t others? Would there be any liabilities? That would be very tough for a small fund to pick up |

No, God no, jesus christ man no. I'd never go near Miracle Whip. Mayo is king of sandwiches. I was more using Miracle Whip as a euphamism for sperm. |

I’d support anything that helps the health care workers Max. It would be a limited donation say $200 because of the uncertainty, but I would do it.
My family is fortunate enough to be “ok” right now because both my wife and I believe in saving at least the recommended 3 months income each. Besides savings and investments.
As lucky as we are, we are terrified as both the teenage girls work at the local small town grocery store. A- They see it as the only way to get “out” B- They are getting 2 bucks more per hour. We are proud of them, but can’t help to think one or both might get sick. How do you discourage teenagers from working when that’s one of the big things I’ve been pushing for years- “ Clean your damn room and don’t be late for work”
I won’t discourage my kids for going to work and busting their butts, they show up and help the community which is what I taught. Too bad for me if they bring it home.

I was about to go into a full rant about this is a slippery slope, government would reduce their role, blah blah blah, but then I realized that this has been going on for 100 years.
FFS, hospitals fund raise all the time. |

Oh I trust you. I think the CX5 Turbo is going to be great.
The problem is I already have a 2016 CX5, and I kind of want something different
We will see how all the vehicles stack up

In case you missed it, you can now sell liquor with any takeout order.

Edit: looks like all liquor. Wow, that's crazy. Do you mix up a zombie and somehow seal it? |

Get creative.
Thanks to Ontario paternalistic liquor laws, you must sell it with food.
Sell a six pack and one peanut.
I'd order a few peanuts from you. |
