You can't beat the Whalers and Nordiques. Colorado Rockies is good too. Kansas City Scouts and California Golden Seals...I can see why the design didn't provide badly needed traction in the public imagination.

I played for the Clarington Toros growing up.

Before my days they were the Bowmanville Bulls and used that logo.

Right? Everybody loves the Whale. With the Scouts and Seals you can't even tell what it is. Very poor design. The only Seals thing I like is the shirt with the name alone, for camp value and because the colours are so untraditional for hockey.
