I ride a 750 Nighthawk and I went into a Harley dealership to get something (can't remember exactly as it was 8-10 yrs. ago)...when I came out there were these two bikers checking my bike out...granted, they weren't Hell's Angels' types but they were grizzled Harley riders who earned all the biker attire they were wearing...I walked up to them, their reception was warm and they started talking about my "rice-burner" in rather complimentary ways...

we're all the same on the road in that we're on two wheels...that's why you'll see motorcyclists give a road salute when passing each other

au contraire, monsieur...scotch drinkers are a breed apart in that when they find their style, they usually stick with it...

it took me years to pass through the scotch threshold, but when I did, the light came on and I got it...I'm not a pure peat guy that goes for a Laphroig or a Talisker, but I do understand the allure...that said, I do like noticeable peat in my scotch whiskey and found that the Hakushu satisfies what I like right now in my scotch...Hakushu is somewhat sweet and smooth up-front, but has a distinct, but not overpowering, peat finish...

What changes would you make to the team constructed above?
What moves above would you not make?
What moves are unrealistic?
Which signings are unrealistic?
Which signings would you not make?

I'll make tweaks to it based on feedback and see what the final result looks like.

Great game. I keep going back to Skyrim as well.

Of course it helps they release it ever 10 minutes on a new platform.

The Buffalo Flames haha. I think the trade offer with Calgary is fair. Jesper Bratt has fantastic underlying statistics. Not a huge fan of Jesper Fast but I like the idea of adding that type of forward.

Pretty cool, good to talk about.
Generally pretty good...much of the below is moving pieces around, but also challenging a bit on 2 moves in Fast and Bennett.

I like acquiring Monahan, but don't see the need for Bennett. He's probably a throw-in to balance the trade value, but I'd look for something different. Lazar gives much of what Bennett delivers at a much lower cost, although I think your $850 contract value for Lazar is low by a couple/three hundred $k. So, if you took Bennett out, could you retain Reino and backfill with picks/prospects? Maybe include Asplund and 2020-2nd? Not sure that works though.

I like the concept of creating a new 2nd line and having Olo with Mojo as we saw that "work" for just a short time, but I thought Kahun was a central ingredient making that work.
Bratt would be playing on his off wing? In view of the previous comment, maybe Kahun joins Olo/ Mojo on L3, and Bratt replaces Kahun at 2LW? We saw Kahun play pretty good on his offside and seemed to have chemistry with those 2.
I don't see the allure to Fast myself, especially at $3m per for 3 years, but that is me.
I'd slide Lazar into Bennet's spot at 4LW there instead.

That leaves the 1RW open if you can't retain Reino in the trade for Monahan...can Cozens move up there? It's a risk for sure....maybe Cozens starts at 3C and Mojo goes to 1RW in that case? I don't know, that then breaks up Olo/Mojo/Kahun combo, but it would be a better spot for Cozens to learn the C game in the NHL on L3.

D looks good, I'd just switch Brodie and Joker as I think asking Joker and Dahlin to play together at such a young age still while each needs to continue with on-the-job development might be asking for alot.

I like a lot of it. Don't know anything about Bratt but I'd take their first rounder straight up for Risto. As for CGY, i doubt they'd move Monahan. However, sub Gaudreau for Monahan and I think it could happen.

soooo...I was wondering where all the fascination with angry larry came from...two years ago there was a long line of fans ready to drive him to the airport...last year many were questioning why botts would re-sign him...now after a solid season where he was on pace for eight goals (2 shy of a career high) and 23 points (the first time he would crack the 20 point mark) while being sixth amongst forwards in 5v5 average time on ice (12:49,) fans can't get enough of him...

now I know why...

from joe Yerdon, the athletic:

"Just as it is in the raw stats, WAR and GAR have Eichel heads and shoulders above all others. When you score that many goals and points and lead the team in just about everything, that’s how it’ll go. What’s wild with the advanced numbers is that in both WAR and GAR, Larsson (1.3 and 7.6 respectively) and Vesey (1.1 and 6.3) are second-best and third-best on the team at forward in overall minutes. This is likely going to mean a lot of you are going to pooh-pooh what these numbers mean. I get it to a point, but the defensive value of Larsson and Vesey (yes, seriously) help them out."

Was 2016-17 the year when he played with Foligno and Gionta?

I'm trying to figure out why he was playing 17 minutes a night (other than because he's super good, of course)
