I loved Peca but man was that dirty!
Do you remember Joe Charbonneau? He came up from the roller hockey leagues and actually made the Canucks one year. He fought Domi twice in the same game. Second time as they were coming out of the box for the initial penalties - 1970vintage
Joe? C'mon, he was a better player when he went by José (with a soft J). |

That’d be a huge suspension these days. I don’t remember him but just looked it up, didn’t do too bad.

Considered an essential service.
If you can keep liquor stores and dispensaries open because they are “essential” then you’ve set the bar pretty low. |

Yeah, that was their second bout. They say in the box for five minutes jawing at each other (after the first fight) and went right back at it! |

I think that's reasonable. I think it was you or VHG that was thinking mother's Day as a day to re-evaluate. So that time frame seems to be good give or take a few days. - RealityChecker
That was me. Mother’s Day is what I’m thinking. |

Mardi Gras really screwed them.
And that's the problem with having hotspots and areas that have it under control. If we have it under control here, we still have to control people coming in both from within Canada and internationally. As you mentioned earlier, the second wave is a real threat. - RealityChecker
Yeah, I just don't really foresee much for large venue gatherings for quite some time. Teams might have to play in front of empty seats for awhile. |

Any changes to people’s potential continued employment based on today’s announcement? I haven’t heard anything from my employer, as far as I know I’m being laid off April 12, but this could change things. |

Quinn Hughes and Pod fell in our laps . I am very thankful
Brock was a good pick
OJ was a terrible pick in a strong draft
Jake was an average pick in an above average draft.
Petey was a very good pick in a good draft.
I thought last years draft was over rated and wanted a Dman . The ones I wanted were all gone by the time we picked but I do think we got the best forward .
I think the draft gets overblown by a bunch of people claiming how strong it is . Most of those people have never seen most of the players in the first round play one game.
I like the draft but I think it is over hyped by people that don't know too much. - VANTEL
McCann was a good pick. Better than Jake. |

Best Canucks fight ever? Coxe vs Probert?
Best fight I saw in person (at the coliseum when I was in HS) was Garry valk vs Rob ray. Skirmishes all over the ice so everyone paired up. Valk didn't want to go. Ray kept trying to goad him. He wouldn't go. So Rob ray slapped him in the face. He unleashed the beast. Valk was enraged. He handled ray pretty good. Not a ko or anything but a great fight for a non-fighter vs a pretty tough dude. I've never forgotten that one. |

Haha I found it funny how he changed it to Joe because everyone called him Hosé (the Spanish version) rather than Joe-sé (apparently the Quebecois version). |

It's kind of like choosing a douche bag over a giant turd sandwich but I hope the Saudi's make Putin their b*tch. |

Nobody makes Putin their female dog, at least they don’t live to tell about it.
I’m wearing my Mr. President t-shirt right now.

I think the Russians are better positioned for a sustained price war. What else does Saudi produce other than oil? Kind of eggs in one basket economy no?
Plus MBS is getting to be quite the tyrant. His days are numbered. |

Not gonna disagree that MBS could get shivved by his family but he's BFFs with Jared Kushner. The Americans are relying on strong support from SA (read MBS) to establish their middle East (peace) plan. Will that make a difference to his longevity or in this fight with Russia? I'm not prepared to go there but the US will try to keep MBS in power behind the scenes. |
