Is it automatically assumed if he saw a minutes increase that meant it would take 3 games instead of 4 games for him to register 60 minutes of play, that he would still produce at the same goal rate he does now? Has that been tracked overall for players to determine if that is a valid or dangerous assumption to be making?

It's not just the minutes increase, its the quality of teammate as well. this is why points is dangerous as an evaluative measure, because line to line it can vary greatly for someone.

If hintz saw a minutes increase but still saw the same usage and teammates his growth in point totals might have been X+1. But if he goes back to centring top six players and getting more meaningful usage, His numbers might have been x+2

That's why I dont factor the scoring rate in when i say on the cusp of stardom. What leads me to make that claim is that his isolated impact in terms of shot rates, chances created etc. Are all already clicking at a near first line level.
