Watching the heavily focused on defense style of incredibly boring to me. I watch for entertainment, and the low event games are easy 15 minute fast forward watches after games. They are not worth watching live at all.

It's not about playing the Jersey stifle.
It's playing fast and aggressive, dominating puck possession by not doing stupid poop w/the puck and turning it over. And having enough skill around to bury the chances you often create. The chances your speed and skill can create without being frantic and reckless. Playing fast and responsibly and coming back on D to regain possession quickly after losing it. Playing a game where the other team gets tired from chasing you & the puck around all night. I don't think watching my team play that way would be boring at all.
