You know what's kinda funny?
I guess for my generation, your parents' friends were your parents' friends. There was always a bit of a respectful distance. My parents still have one set of friends who they have been BFFs with since I can remember (I was really close with their son). But to this day, they are still "Mr. and Mrs. XXXXX to me - not Mike and Carol.
That's gone now - my kids' friends call me by my first name.
But this gentleman was just a regular guy (despite him being a titan of industry). He and I would always just shoot the poop about the Leafs, and we did it as equals, despite the fact I could never in my life think of us that way. He sat in my backyard last year at a family party, and we both sucked back beers and watched football like we had gone to high school together.

Uhm, register and pay now? Where is this being held? CDC is going to recommend that isolation ends four weeks after areas (counties?) go with no community transferred cases. I have no idea how they test for community transferred cases but that sounds like still a ways to go.

My dad lives 2 hours away. My sister is going to see him tomorrow after self isolating for two weeks after a coworker tested positive. She never got tested. That visit should probably finish him off. Thick European sommana’ female doges. - Woderwick

Orlando, Orange County Convention Center. The place is usually packed beyond our industry with vacationers. No charge to attend if you register early..lol.

Not going. We host 2 large dealer shows here in Canada as well. One in October in BC and the other at the Toronto Congress Centre early December. We are already making plans to create 2 virtual shows and forego the physical show. There is no way anyone is going to feel comfortable in that setting in July.

Just found out my late father-in-law's best friend died. He was a franking saint to my wife - she absolutely adored him. One of the greatest guys, and a HUGE Leafs fan.
