Team Scary
G-Ray Emery
D-Behn Wilson
D-Kevin Hatcher
LW-Dave Schultz
C- Lindros
RW- Dave Brown
I would put in Pronger instead of Behn here. The D would fight a lot less with Behn gone, but they would not need to with that line up. No one would ever attempt a dump in wit Hatcher or Pronger bearing down on them.

PT, that's a good list, but a tough call to leave Wilson off the list.
Did Frank "The Animal" Biolowas ever lace em up for the Flyers? If so, he's gotta be on that list, too. I remember going to the Phantoms games back in the 90's and that guy was just a friggin beat down machine. Most guys turtled but those that gave it go paid a price. I remember a game we were sitting about 8 rows up off the ice when some guy took him on. I can still hear that "crack" sound in my mind when The Animal caught him square right on the left cheek bone/jaw area. That ended it quick.
I was thinking that with Brown, Schultz and Lindros, you don't really need another guy who fights as much as Behn did.
Hatcher and Pronger were more the sneakily mean type (the boardings, the elbows) and just as effective in the scary department, and were probably better defensemen than Behn.
Having said all that, I forgot the rule that we should pick players on the form they displayed while on the Flyers. Hatcher and Pronger were on the way down by the time they arrived, while Behn was terrific in his Flyers years, so maybe I am misguided.
Is this happens when team entertaining means team scary?

While Pronger was way past his prime when he arrived here, he was a still a legitimate difference maker with the ability to elevate a team. Wilson was a good player but never reached near that level at any time.
I was looking up what happened to him. I found his first boxing fight, which will make you happy if you have not seen it. Fights a bigger guy, who repeatedly tries to bully him out of the ring.
Long vid, but all action starts at the 3:50 min mark and finishes within 60 secs.
Team of my native Ukraine needs more players
Alexei Zhitnik
Ruslan Fedotenko
Would Canadian players with Ukrainian roots be eligible (Jeff Chychrun and Orest Kindrachuk)?
I'm interested in gleaning some more scotch whisky information from you. Do you have a favorite region?
I'm a Lagavulin guy (until the day I die), just like this gentle Scotsman of renown:
But my preference is really anything else from Islay. I like that they tend to be peatier, but even lighter offerings, such as those from Bowmore or Bunnahabhain, seem to somehow agree with my sense of taste.
Of course, I don't think that I've ever had any single malts that I didn't like. I just have a preference for the Islay's more than any other region, in general.
Looks like Quebec’s speed and skill with solid tending just beats Ontario. But that Ontario tea is scary.
Then close match between USA and Sweden. Those Swedes know how to win underdog style. Team USA takes it but team Czech could be a huge surprise. Get jags and jake but the Xfactor is Cechmanek. I truly believe he could be the Flyers best goalie. If he could play big game hockey they have a chance.

I am a Laphroaig guy meself, but least 25 years vintage. It is arguably the peatiest of them all.

Remember how he used to do the little headshake to bat away pucks headed for his helmet? Soccer header style? Was even funnier when he missed. Looked like David Byrne at a concert.
