Trading for Risto erases the worry of signing Tanev. I will wait for the "Are You Crazy " response.

I don’t think we have the expendable assets to do that. We need our younger players.

Any trades of contracts out needs prospects or picks coming back. Rafferty is 1 player being groomed & maybe Lind soon as well along with OJ. Pod & Hoagie we need to wait on. To keep the core & cap for Petey & Huge it will take some bitter pills to swallow.

Seems like it’s much better to move him. You’ve got a lot pf people to sign, taking 2 mil off is an easy win. Get sutters 4 off as well. That makes 6, get loui off and we might actually be able to keep our ufas. Ive always though benning will be doing some housekeeping this summer, no need to keep players who aren’t playing on the books for any amount.

Ya that’s my point. The difference is an elc. Evry penny counts if they freeze the cap, it was supposed to go up by 3 now that seems unlikely.

It could be Edelr Barrie , Hughes Myers. I just think that will be our seven D unless there is a trade.

Tryamkin already said last year he would be a great stay at home guy for Hughes.
