Usually the draft is late June, hopefully we're out of this mess by then.

I wouldn't count on it.

They could conceivably hold the draft in an arena, with no fans. Top 50 or so prospects, well separated, no hand shaking etc. but then what about the travel for players/team staff to get there, hotels for people to stay in, meals etc. just sounds like something they should try and avoid.

They’ll probably do it via video, makes the most sense.

I think they will start getting a clearer picture in about 30-45 days and then strt planning things.

Agree, probably a bit premature to be guessing but what else do we have to do.

The NFL draft is in 2 1/2 weeks.

I think the other leagues will borrow heavily and learn from how they handle it.

Yup, you always have the option to move him, unless JB doles out a NTC.
- VanHockeyGuy

Doubt that will happen. Looking at numbers and what Dhaliwal is saying Canuck will probably let Tanev walk and not make Stecher a qualifying offer but then offer him a contract cheaper at free agency.

I think it will be a virtual draft. Execs in their office's, draftee's and their families at home and fans streaming it from their bunker's.

He really hasn’t said anything remotely like that about tanev, are you quoting that fake account again?

I think it is an interpretation and not a direct quote.

Probably shouldn’t acredit it to Dhaliwal then. Hasn’t commented on the likelyhood of him re-signing...

How would you interpret "Unless their is a buy out or the cap goes up ,I don't think he will sign with the Canucks . He won't be giving a hometown discount , he won't be giving a hometown discount."

Tanev is a big reason Quinn has been so good. Id be a bit worried about losing him. At the same time its a matter of time before his body vaporizes. Tough spot to be in for Van

And there you have it.

I don’t follow any trending talking head, couldn’t give two shits what they have to say.

If there is one wish I have with this virus, is that all social media is blown up and bankrupt, fuck twitter, instawhatever, kilckcock, fb, all of them.

I posted I agree with Ricks take on the matter and Neem said Rick never said that.

Then you said it is how I interpreted it and Neem says I should't accredit Rick .

This is how sh1t snowballs . All from me saying I agree with Rick

I never said he is always right. I said I agree with him on this take .

For the record he is right more often than everyone else combined.
