Morning Gentlemen. Hope everyone is safe and prepared. The sump pump burnt out yesterday, hate that burning electrical smell. Had to come up and go to the hardware store.
Things sure have changed topside. Looks like folks are starting to take this seriously. Spoke to a local contractor who is extremely busy boarding up businesses and homes.
Remember to check out the videos from Canadian Prepper to help guide you in locking down your residence. Lots of helpful information on the channel. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. |

They included construction as an essential service at first, but that's been changed now I think. - Zezel
Residential construction is still going on. I wonder if Ford is having a house built? |

According to reports it's just Infrastructure (hospitals, transportation, etc) and current projects that are nearing completion. Maybe that "residential" you mention is part of the latter - nearing completion. |

Really? I always thought Rob was Biff from Back to the Future, big, dumb and kinda mean. Meaner when drunk or stoned which was a lot of the time.
Doug was a little bit smarter and mean a lot more of the time. I’m ok if that’s the criteria for hell cause then there’s no room for me. |

FFS, can't people just relax and enjoy another fan's love of his team, even if it isn't your team? |

What a painfully mediocre speaker. He'll probably use this as an opportunity to hand out some pork to his pals like he did after the election.
The Habs' only hope is that Carey Price gets Covid and dies so they get out of that contract. - Zezel

There are a lot of businesses that are “essential businesses” that really aren’t but they are because of the list.
A big thing that they said in the list is “residential services for sanitation and safety of residents”
I know my friend who runs a pool business is fighting that they are sanitizing backyards by not having stagnant water in the heat.
Which is true...but that’s not really a problem until late summer and they really shouldn’t be running things right now....and if you can’t open your own pool up, you need to go back to school.
Another one of my friends owns a tree business...they are cutting down a tree in someone’s backyard today because it’s dead. Another windy day like we had in Ontario last week and it’s coming down on the house.
It’s pretty impossible to stop all businesses. |

Yeah as a hockey fan if you can't see that and just give respect, I don't get it.
Although, as super rad as that basement is...what's the point of it? Other than being beautiful? |

Looks like his kids can fire rubber pucks to their hearts' content.
I used to build a 20' X 30" rink in the backyard. Surrounded one end with old chainlink fence I had lying around.
There was nothing better than going out there after the kids had gone to sleep and firing pucks for a half an hour.
Gawd, I miss it. |

Which is one of the reasons you do something like this - if it isn't going to be your cool mancave with wet bar and pinball machine and Chexx hockey table, you may as well turn it over to the kids. |

This is a random question and idea I had and was hoping someone would be interested ...if there was a tournament or league where the teams had to be stocked with local talent who would have the best team? I'm thinking T.O. would have several teams according to more specific areas of that region. Would Winnipeg have team? Etc...almost like grown up/pro version of youth hockey. |

I was responding to the part about construction. I know ppl who have recently been laid off due to the new requirements.
