I speak fluent Kaiser.

All of the above is code for what Kaiser thinks of nearly every prospect or draft pick ever.

He would trade every one for a player in the NHL.

Idk, his playmaking is supposed to be his thing and he's not going to have as much of an opportunity to do that on the wing
- jcragcrumple

Reinhart is more of a playmaker then a shooter and I think we can agree that he’s a better fit on the wing.

He’ll have less responsibility on the wing and can focus more on the offensive side of the game. It’s clear that his defensive game and lack of top end speed will hold him back from being a high end Center.

What about his professional tenure to date makes you think he’ll make it, at all?

I just dont see Mittelstadt scoring 25 goals a year consistently. He has good hands, no doubt, but I just dont see it personally. I think his ceiling is as a 15+35 center if he fixes his d game and figures out how to translate the shiftiness and playmaking that got him here.

As a winger, I think his ceiling looks something like Mojo

Not applicable for your outlook as they're both NHL players now.

I'm talking about prospects and draft picks that have little to no NHL experience.

And miss out on drafting Geoff Sanderson's kid 7oa? No thank you
- jcragcrumple

I wouldn't mind the Bill's taking antoine Winfields kid in he 2nd round. Loved senior.

Tough times when Minnesota took him and PAT WILLIAMS. 2 all time underrated Buffalo bills

I think if he can get a lot better at skating we will have something decent.

It’s obvious he’s never going to be a star. But I think some more foot speed and he will be a top 9 player with his talent.

I've seen him go all over the board. From 2nd round to the 5th round. With that kind of spread, it would seem that round 2 could be a little risky.

I dont understand how sometimes I watch him and go "wow, who's that flying down the ice?" And it's Mittelstadt, and sometimes he's slow as hell.

He needs to work on his edge work and acceleration. Offer Dawn Braid a promotion to come be an assistant coach. She can sit in the press box like Teppo

It’s one of the hiccups that come with no juniors and 1 year of college.

I still think they did him no favors in terms of line mates

What’s to say he can’t grow up??
Lots of 21 year olds are immature
Few have his talent

If u get good trade value for him, then fine
But it makes no sense to “sell low”

- jdfitz77

I agree that some 21 YO are immature, for sure.
However, He has now burned his ELC and is not any better than 3 years ago.
That tells me, with out being there, that he is lacking Hockey Character...best described perhaps as wanting it more than anything and working diligently to achieve it. I have posted in this section earlier in greater detail so I won't waste additional space here.

It rivals Nylander's commitment level, lack thereof at the same age. There was a long-running debate about him being young and it is the same as it is for Mitts now.
I was steadfast in desiring to see him go, and I believe I was right then and will be for Mitts as well.

As far as selling "low", this may not in fact represent his low.
IMO, it is more likely that he establishes a new low unless he re-invents his commitment level...if he continues on the way he has, his trade value will be a relative zero in a year from now.

Good Asset Management says to move him now. If you wait for further proof, it will be far too late.

I should rephrase:

I wouldnt mind the Bill's drafting antoine Winfields son in the 2nd thru 7th rounds 🙂

I saw him as early as 40 in the one mock draft.

Seems like a mcbeane special.

I am not ready to give up on him yet. But I will say that if you can use him to get a piece that helps this team get better, then I am all for it.

Ya, I'm willing to give him a year, doesn't impact my life.
but, if they were smart they would sell now, IMO of course.
